I want to file a formal complaint against Stormy Point Village regarding the financial hardships I am currently facing in relation to my timeshare contract. I am seeking your assistance in finding a resolution to this matter.I would like to emphasize that my financial situation has deteriorated significantly, and I am unable to afford the financial obligations associated with maintaining this timeshare. Due to personal circumstances, I am unable to utilize the timeshare or effectively address its responsibilities. This has created an immense burden for me, and I am struggling to meet the financial demands of this commitment, especially considering the upcoming expenses associated with my daughter's college education.I strongly believe that it is only fair and reasonable for a reputable and successful company like Stormy Point Village to consider the challenges faced by an ordinary client encountering financial hardships. I have reached out to the company in the hopes of finding an amicable solution to this situation. I am not requesting any special favors; rather, I kindly request that Stormy Point Village explore options to remove my name from the timeshare contract or provide a clear explanation as to why this is not possible.I have made multiple attempts to communicate my circumstances and concerns to Stormy Point Village directly, but have not received a satisfactory response. Therefore, I am turning to the Better Business Bureau for assistance in resolving this matter in a fair and equitable manner.I have attached supporting documentation detailing my financial constraints and the impact this timeshare commitment has had on my overall financial well-being. I kindly request your intervention and guidance in facilitating a resolution that takes into account my current circumstances.Thank you for your attention to this matter. We apologize if the ********/******* familys experience with Capital Vacations did not meet their expectations. We reached out to the ********/******* family on June 18, 2024, unfortunately we were not able to speak to them. The only option of owners at Stormy Point Village to end their ownership is our deed back program, which requires loan and maintenance fees to be paid in full.Unfortunately, the ********/******* family does not qualify due to an open loan and past due maintenance fees. The ********/******* family can call ********* Services at **************, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to discuss account balances and possible settlement options.
