BEWARE!!! when you use waterway, I was a car club member.Went through the car wash and it damaged my Range Rover.****, who works at the ********** location handling the situation asked he asked me to glue my car where it was damaged from the car wash.Really? like Im going to glue my car. Of course I wanted to speak with someone higher up, I left a message for **** *****. He did return my call. He said Im happy to pay for half of it.Why should I accept half when the car wash caused all of the damage?. He said that it is a problem with my particular car, but it doesnt warrant letting the Customers Who **** Range Rovers know about this problem. Because it doesnt happen enough. He also told me to turn this into my insurance company. I am a St. ***** business owner with four companies. I will be placing letters in all of my businesses explaining the situation. I also have my attorney working on this. No one wants to be accountable for anything these days. Beware of this company.. ****** ******Waterway Gas & Wash Response

We are aware of Mr. ******* claim and, although we do not believe car wash equipment caused the purported damage, as a valued customer have taken active steps to amicably resolve the matter directly with ****************. Unfortunately, those resolutions have been unacceptable to **************** and he has advised he has engaged counsel regarding this matter. Based on that information we are awaiting contact from Mr. ******* counsel to discuss any further resolution. We value all our customers and look forward to achieving an amicable resolution as quickly as possible.Review from Victoria D

Joke of a carwash -interior was filthy even though I purchased the full package! Dust and crumbs everywhere and streaks on the seats. I asked the kid for a rag and began wiping off areas all the while asking if this was really done. He kept claiming he had cleaned unitl I asked for a manager who came over and said it was all stains and damage. Dust is a stain? Crumbs are damage? Streaks that wipe off are stains? This was the worst carwash I have ever been to. My car is filthy. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAINWaterway Gas & Wash Response

The new process they are using is unreasonable. They want you to put a sticker on your window that you did not have to have before the sticker is large and obstruct your view, which is unsafe for driving. The managers have become condescending and rude. The membership cost well over $600 a year. I will not be renewing my membership.Waterway Gas & Wash Response

****************, thank you for the feedback. We understand your concerns about the **** sticker, but it is required for membership and only 1"x4" in size. We have multiple membership levels at affordable price points. We will be happy to discuss these options with you further. Waterway employee sold me a one month promotion while I was waiting in line to have a rented car while.on vacations and never told me it was a subscription with a recurring charges to my credit card. What a scam. They can easily check the record, the service was used one time only since I traveled to other city even before the month expected stay, very easy to verify on their system, but they denied my request to reimburse a second month charge. Be aware of waterway sell's skimmed practices. What a shame!Waterway Gas & Wash Response

**CAUTION** Waterway car wash will scratch up your vehicle and not care. Their machine brushes that go over the top of your vehicle stops at the top of your windshield and changes direction, it causes a "nail to a chalkboard" sound (In my experience over the past year). Sometimes their car wash won't dispense the soap properly so there isn't enough "lubricant" so the brushes end up dragging dirt and grime that ultimately will scratch your vehicle. They don't always spray off your vehicle before starting the wash.I wish I could've had a better experience and would love to share my opinion on ****, their managing partner, but I will just state the facts of my experience with him. It took three weeks before I finally heard from someone at waterway to setup a specific day and time five days later on top of the time I waited to get a response from ****. The first comment he made was that wont buff out. And made me go through their wash again which I noticed they mustve fixed something because the sound from the brush didnt happen for the first time. After speaking with him for a few minutes, he began to have an aggressive tone and talked in a raised voice at me when I wouldn't agree to his comments. He bickered with me about how to fix the damage only to offer no resolution and questioned me over and over on this (did not understand why). He stated Waterway does not detail cars so they can't buff it out and asked my why I don't just buff it out myself (It's on their website they offer full detail services). He claimed the "nail to a chalkboard" sound isn't coming from their brushes scratching my vehicle, but it comes from the bearings. He went as far to say his truck has the same exact scratches on the roof brand new from the dealership. He argued points un related to the issue to make his point like arguing over a stain on my hood that was bird droppings and tried to argue it wasn't bird droppings. Do what you will with this info. First off, I have never had a problem with the car wash in ************** and the workers have been careful and thorough. The lowered **** is because of a gas purchase made Nov. 21, 2022 at the same time I had a carwash. This is the first time this has happened to me, but a $200.00 hold was placed on my card for a $19.00 gas purchase. I believe this is most excessive, and if this is a continuing thing, at least alert the customers of that. After calling that particular Waterway and the card company, neither could give me a straight answer why it occurred, and basically blamed each other. I did find out from the card company that it may be up to ****************************************************************** the Activity section. A nice Thanksgiving for somebody on my dime. I posted this on NextDoor as well, and evidently this is happening more frequently. Maybe this is a fact of life in risk-averse 2022, but at least warn your customers of it -- some may have low limit credit or debit cards that could really cause a domino effect. Just my opinion, for what it's worth.Review from Sonya Murray

On Thursday, May 26, I went to get my vehicle washed at the Waterway Car Wash at the ********************** location. The serviceman who took my keys and I were making small talk and joking as I arrived. We talked about a flying bug that I thought had flown in. After our conversation and still laughing and in a festive mood, I approached the cashier ***** who was helping another customer. The customer, a Caucasian male, was being checked out. I overheard the word "whip." As I looked up at ***** to pay, she looked as if she had seen a ghost! I said, What's wrong? "Are you afraid of bugs too?" What did he say about a whip? She said, "I cannot repeat it!" She said, "I cannot believe that gentleman just said that about you?" I said, 'Yes, I heard the word whip but not the full comment. What did he say?" She proceeded to tell me that he used a racial slur and stated, "Do we need to take her (referring to me) outside and whip her?"The man went outside to his vehicle. I waited, and when he returned, I asked him to repeat his comment. He, of course, denied saying anything to ***** but Have a good day. I asked ***** to repeat it, and she did it in front of him. I immediately told the manager on duty that I heard his comment about the whip, and so did *****. I requested to speak with *****, the General Manager who, as of June 3, has yet to call me back or follow up. ***** was extremely shaken up but very accommodating, and she offered to pay for my car wash the next time I visited the Waterway location. The manager on duty (not sure of his name) then spoke with ***** by phone, separated from me as I waited for nearly an hour. The store manager told me that the General Manager, *****, would give me a call. He did not. After nearly a week, no one from Waterway reached out to rectify the racially charged situation or tell me how it was handled with the guest despite telling me thReview from Andrew G.

The attendant drove off with my vehicle after I told him to wait a minute. My bag with my wallet, cell phone, and other valuables was still inside. I spoke with the, "manager" who rolled their eyes at me and told me sorry he must not have heard you. I sent an email to the, "general manager" and received a phone call from someone else who was not the general manager, who only had sorry to say. Management has failed to identify the root cause of the problem, and make an actionable plan to correct the deficiency in service as such, they will continue to provide this poor service at this location in ************* ** *****.Waterway Gas & Wash Response
