Account Resolution Corporation (ARC) received this complaint ******** on 9/11/24.
The consumer indicates in the complaint that the consumer is not liable for the debt. The consumer indicates the consumer has no contract with ARC. The consumer indicates ARC did not provide the original contract as requested. The consumers desired resolution is for ARC to correct the credit report.
Upon receipt of complaint, ARC reviewed the account. ARC has agreements with creditors to forward accounts for collection. An agreement is not required between the consumer and ARC. ARC has no record of the consumer requesting a contract before this complaint. Validation of debt was mailed to the consumer on 9/12/24.

ARC would like the consumer to know that their office is available to discuss the account/complaint at any time. Consumer claims the (Social Security Number) SSN is wrong. The consumers desired resolution is for ARC to correct the credit report.

On or about 11/23/23, my husband was seen at the emergency room at ******************************, **. He is a 100% disabled veteran. I, personally, called and informed the 24 hour phone number to inform them that he was being seen, as required. Now they're saying that there was no referral number and it's my duty to get it(this bill is for a CT scan). To me, it's their responsibility to contact the VA ********* care division to get that number. The reference number on the bill is: *******Business response

The consumer indicates in the complaint that the consumer took her husband to the provider. The consumer comments that the provider told him that he needs to get a referral number from the VA for this visit. The consumer believes the provider should do this.
The consumers desired resolution is for a billing adjustment.
Upon receipt of complaint, ARC reviewed the account. ARC sent the complaint to the creditor.The creditor has obtained the auth number and the claim has been rebilled. The creditor asked ARC to place the account on hold which ARC did.
**************************, President of ARC attempted to call the consumer on 4/8/24, however, *********** was not able to reach the consumer. ARC would like the consumer to know that their office is available to discuss the account/complaint at any time. As it relates to the consumers request for a billing adjustment, the creditor has indicated to wait for the payment/adjustment from the insurance payer.
