I am writing to formally request a refund for gift certificates which were given to my daughters as Christmas presents in 2023. The total value of the certificates is $120.15.The gift certificates did not include an expiration date, and no such date was communicated at the time of purchase. Due to this lack of expiration date, I did not prioritize scheduling the facials immediately. However, when I contacted **************** in June 2024 to arrange the appointments, I was informed that she had relocated and could no longer offer the services specified on the certificates. We verbally agreed on a refund, but subsequent attempts to follow up on this matter have been met with unresponsiveness until I mentioned escalating the issue publicly. She then indicated that a refund would not be issued, arguing that I should have used the certificates within 60 days, despite there being no expiration date specified. I was advised by a friend that under the **** Act, gift certificates and store gift cards cannot expire for at least five years from the date of issuance.Given that the services initially offered are no longer available, and considering the significant inconsistency in her business locationslisted at *****************************************************************************************************************************; and currently at ******************, Clever, MOI am requesting a full refund. My daughters are not interested in the alternative services she has suggested, and I am unwilling to wait indefinitely for her to potentially offer the original services again.

She continued to message me on messenger on June 26th, July 2nd, July 3rd, and July 19th asking for a refund. I didnt respond because we had already discussed my situation. July 19th I responded via ******** messenger after she was threatening my business and I for bad reviews she was going to do and also contacting ky3 saying I had stole from her when she wasnt the one who bought the gift card and still have not heard from the person who purchased the gift card. July 24th she denied my services and also the offer to still provide the facials when I got back into a space where I can legally with my license offer them. July 24th no response to my response when she is saying I havent responded. July 24th her husband ******************* made a personal ******** post about his side of his wifes story and asking for ******** friends to leave my business bad reviews therefore defamation of character and slander in the comments saying they want my business to suffer. July 26th posted in a ******** group neighbors of clever telling people to not to come to me among other things. They are wanting a refund on a gift card that they didnt pay for, someone else did.
