ASI Flex is the worst flex plan Ive ever been a part of. They want documentation for every single doctors office visit Ive paid for. I worked in ** for 29 years and we had ********* and it was wonderful. I never was questioned about anything or had to provide documentation for anything. Went to SC this year and they offered ASI Flex. Its been a nightmare. It makes the tax credit not worth it.ASI FLEX Response

ASI Flex rejects many claims. When I do send in documentation, they tell me not to send it unless they ask. Last year and this year 2024, my account has been frozen because they want proof of the dollar amount, a description of what we are seen for and a doctor's ********** Really? I always get what I need for my visits, but my husband forgets. His are the ones I struggle with. When you visit an eye doctor, medical doctor, or have surgery, be sure to get the documents at the visit. Otherwise, you will most likely have to send emails, make phone calls, and when you do not get your documents in a timely manner, they freeze your account. It is the dumbest thing ever. It is my money. I send in the documentation with the name of the patient and the amount. Quit freezing my account!ASI FLEX Response

I'll start by noting that I never take the time to leave reviews. This company is so bad I made the effort. Horrible, horrible company. I have had FSAs, and yes they need to document things, but why is the process adopted by this company so much more difficult than all the others? Why do they reject, reject, reject from clearly reputable sources such as a audiologist or PT? Why do they accept something then reject the same, from a provider that was previously approved and for the same service? Why is their portal so confusing and user unfriendly? Why are their secure messages buried in jargon and impossible to decipher without a ******* *****? Because every hurdle they put in your way has a dollar sign attached to it. People get frustrated and give up, or get busy(er) and forget, and then eventually lose their money to this awful company. As most other reviews, I would leave a zero if I couldASI FLEX Response

Absolute pits of a company. I have given my feedback over and over and over to both my company's IT and HR departments, so far to no avail. They stick with this sad sack company for this flexible spending service. This company has not fixed key issues with its technology for over 13 years. Included among them are the following:1. case-sensitive usernames. (WHA??) No one has case-sensitive usernames, except the very inept.2. An image security system that's being used the *opposite* of how they're supposed to be used. The point of asking customers to pick an image among many (like BofA did) is so that they can present that image to you when you log in as assurance that they are the site--and not a phishing site. These dopes just use it as one more hoop for customers to jump through to get logged in. Inane.3. Security questions. Ever since ************************* Yahoo email was hacked by people who researched and successfully found the answers to her security question, the lay person has been aware how plainly ineffective a security measure these questions are. Still, this company persists in using them. And...the answers--were you to use these questions' answers on any other web site are exposed in plain text to the average telephone operator helping you. They don't use the questions to validate you in cases where you don't have a preceding piece of information; they use them for EVERY call. So stupid.4. The Web site is beyond frustrating to use. You get logged in and start wondering where the h*** am I supposed to go next. Make a mistake of using your Back button and you're bound to lose your session. They have no anchor link back to the home page. The entire "hero image" (the banner across the top is utterly useless for navigation, except for their oddly incongruous accessibility widget. Incongruous because it's a slew of help that the rest of the site could thoroughly use, but it's only for accessibility issues. Out of characters. Avoid this company like COVID.ASI FLEX Response

In the past I have used several FSAs, both for dependent care and medical expenses, this one is by far the worst one. Like many of you the company I work for was able to save a couple dollars by having FSI Flex manage their account, but like the old saying goes you get what you pay for. They claim due to IRS regulations they need additional documentation for most of your debt card transactions even though most card readers wont go through unless the item or service is FSA approved. The way you find out they need additional documentation is a email that looks like spam. Once you login to your portal you then need to try and find the transaction they are taking about. When you call or email ASI Flex to get more information they cant tell you anything due to once again you guessed it IRS regulations. Now maybe this is just me but after dealing with ASI Flex it seems like they are trying to make it so hard and aggravating that you just give up and the money goes unclaimed. As I said at the beginning, I have used several FSA in the past and have had great success using them, but if my employer continues using ASI Flex I will not be part of it, happily paying for the taxes on medical expenses and I highly recommend you do the same.ASI FLEX Response

Worst HSA company my work has had yet! Their interface is SO outdated! it sends messages that look like they were typed up on a type writer and scanned in; and you cannot message back in the message center, you have to send a separate email or call. The messages are SUPER vague and lead to more confusion than necessary. They reference the dates you filed claims but do not show what you uploaded. If you don't keep your own copies of everything you upload, you will have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. Never have I been part of on that is run this way. Very inconsistent with what they require documentation for, one time an appointment doesn't require it, the next time same kind of appt, it does. And it seems to want documentation for ALL dentist appointments for some reason. And will say pending so long that its hard to track down the receipt by the time they decide they want it. And don't try to upload a receipt early before it asks (even though you know its going to) because then it sends you a message asking you not to upload documentation until they ask for it! Every other one I've ever had to use lets you upload everything and you can access it anytime you like and actually SEE what you've uploaded for claims and even track them. Not this one. I cannot wait until my work changes companies again, 2 more years. I haven't had any issues receiving my money. Just dealing with the app and the website is horrendous and crazy outdated and makes things take longer than they should.ASI FLEX Response

Would give zero if i could. Most difficult program to be a part of. Nothing is constistant. They accepted multiple documentation of the same form. Then suddenly suspend me weeks later for not providing correct documentation for the same service. Sends email saying recieved and confirmatin number but doesnt tell you anything is wrong untill your suspended. Took 2 months to get login in straight to even be able to submit documentation. If you want to spend every lunch break after every purchase on the phone this program is for you. Beyond frustrating and a waste of time.ASI FLEX Response

They make you provide documentation for every single little thing, even if it ran through your insurance. The documentation has to be exact and even then I have had claims erroneously denied with the impending threat to suspend my FSA debit card with my own money on it. Their interfaced is outdated and their messaging system both in the app and via text is so vague that it ends up causing more confusion than actual assistance. This is my first FSA and this experience makes me never want an FSA again. What a waste of time and effort. You are better off putting aside money on your own.ASI FLEX Response

This HSA plan is a joke. They constantly reject claims from my son and wife and shut off my card because they don't have capacity to add insurance information. Wish I could go lower than one star.ASI FLEX Response
