- I purchased a guitar (instrument) cable on Oct 16, 2015. On Dec 20, 2022 it developed an issue (when one end of the cable was moved it made a static noise). This is considered atypical behavior and makes the cable unusable (the sound going through it should ideally be unaffected). - I emailed **** ***** on Dec 21, 2022 about the issue. Here is what I said to them: "I started to have static noise from my guitar when I moved around. I isolated it to the cable below where it plugged into the guitar. When ohm’d out it looks like the ground between the two connectors jumps by a few ohms as the cable ends are moved. Is there another good test I can do to confirm the cable failed before sending it to you for warrantee repair?" - *** ***** ***** ****** replied on Dec 21, 2022 with he following: "Sorry to hear you are having issues with your **** *****! All instrument cables will be slightly noisy and microphonic in the first 6-12 inches of the cable out of the output jack from your instrument. This problem is exacerbated by two things: high gain and age. Should your cable fail to pass signal entirely, feel free to send it in and we will get yours fixed or replaced." - Their reply contradicts their warrantee return policy stated on this page: **************************************** * A guitar cable with a noise is not usable, even if the noise is intermittent. I have dozens of other guitar cables and none exhibit this issue. - I request they provide warrantee services (replacement or repair), or update their website to state a warrantee the reflects what **** states above.Business response

I need to report a faulty product that may have adversely damaged my small business. I've already Pro Co and they have since mishandled my case along with outright refusal to offer any refund for their defective product. Purchased on 1/22/21 ****** Order # ******************* ************** StageMASTER 8x4 100-Feet Audio Snake with XLR Returns A proper field test of this product could not be done during the pandemic with no audio work. This product was then finally able to be properly tested at a live broadcast event in a downtown Chicago hotel in mid-December, 2021, revealing two serious flaws concerning the absence of electrical audio grounding resulting in radio noises, clicks and hiss coming into the audio signal from improper design; no proper audio shield grounds. As it was, my client heard the damaged audio from my using this product on-site and my company may have been adversely affected from unprofessional audio coming to them from me, resulting in my losing future freelance work from this broadcast client, resulting in a loss of income. The only way I was able to correct all issues of noise interference into the audio signal was to remove this product from usage and instead use ten 50-foot XLR cable runs.
