I dealt with **** ******** related to upgrading my existing Humana policy. When I was told that I was accepted for the upgrade, I was told yet again by agent, I had 0 deductibles, 0 copay, would not have to pay for ambulance runs; everything was covered 100 percent. I have subsequently been informed by Humana that I have 20% copay and $300 cost for ambulance. I find this obvious misinformation to be quite disturbing. I wish to make you aware of this in hopes it doesn't recur with another customer. Thank you for your attention to this matter.Business response

I recently changed health insurance and after the first day of calls I added my phone number to the do not call list and in two weeks I’ve received over 200 calls until my phone blocked everything as spam. I’m also trying to find a new job so I have to answer these calls now. Smart Match called knowing that I had changed health insurance to tell me about recent changes in Georgia that may offer other programs & benefits to lower costs and living expenses. I gave them my Information, waited several minutes, and was disconnected. Now I am very worried about what will be done with that information and what scams I will have to deal with.Business response

This company has been calling by cell phone number constantly, even though I am on a national DO NOT CALL LIST! No ethical company does that! And when I block one number from them, I get calls from other phone numbers!Business response

I have been called multiple times over the past two days from different numbers. When I answer, the call hangs up. Caller ID says SmartMatch Insurance. They do not leave a voicemail. I am not seeking any kind of insurance as my employer covers 100% of my insurance premium. I'm also not 65. Please stop calling.Business response

On July 31 2023, an agent from Smartmatch (not smart at all) “matched me with a different Medicare advantage plan. I am now stuck with the worst company ever! They were sued for denying millions of medically necessary claims . My local grocery store will not allow people to use this company’s food and OTC card because they used an algorithm to raise the price of prescriptions. I was looking for a behavioral health therapist. They can’t search for individual names, they can only give me the names of facilities. I don’t need medication. They also can’t look by psychologists by specialty. psychologists are very specific about what they specialize in, such as CBT for sleep disorders or cbt for depression or EMDR therapist for trauma etc. They expect me to call every therapist on the list to get information. Hours and hours I would send them a bill for my time if I could. I’m also out $60/mo food benefits. They keep sending me emails with no unsubscribe button. Please make them stop. They stuck me with a company with a 2 star rating. Smart match is harassing me and they are a scam. Luckily, I’m moving to a different state in December and the insurance company is not licensed there so I can switch back to the company I was with. Smartmatch get lost!Business response

On April 11, 2023 I entered into a contract with SmartMatch Insurance for Medicare Advantage which won’t start for me until June 1, 2023. I have since attempted to get hold of someone (preferably my agent *********) many times and only ever get a voicemail which I have left several detailed messages on. My situation is getting dire and I need to speak with someone immediately.Business response
