I have been fighting with the service department at ****** for over a your about a known issue with my 2019 Kia ****** burning an excessive amount of oil. The department claims that this is a known issue due to a defect in the engine design that allows for the carburation on the piston head, which in turn causes oil to be released into the cavity at a higher than normal rate. This oil is then burned during the combustion process. The service department had me bring my car back in ***** increments over that past year to document the oil consumption. It varied from a small amount to burning the oil completely from the engine in ***** miles. They also suggested that the fix is an overnight engine soak. They performed this twice and it has not fixed the problem. They claim that there is nothing more that they can do because ***'s engine warranty is excessively strict. As of 4/3/24, I left my car at ******. They claimed that they were going to "completely take *** car a part and find the issue". It has now been 2 weeks. I can not get anyone from the service department to return my call. I have left messages with the service tech handling my case, the store manager. I have no car, and to my knowledge my car still is not fixed. My car is now technically out of the ******* mile engine warranty, and I have no resolution in sight. Worst car dealership I have ever dealt with. On top of the aforementioned issues, several attempts were made to try and get me to either pay for one of the engine soaks or for an oil change, despite the fact that I was out of oil due to the s***** car they sold me!

A $600 administration fee was added to my total. I was told it was required by Law. When I went home & read the tiny fine print, it stated it is not an official fee or required by law but may result in a profit to dealer.

I wish I never did business with ****** everything sounded good until it was time to repair things on my Brand New Vehicle, they dont honor anything on the Kia ********** warranty or the Extended warranty I bought from them for $3000.00 I have a 2021 ********** had it from a little over a year and it needs a New Engine its still under both warranties and *** refuses to replace it, if I had to do it all over again I would have never did Business with ******.

I just had almost 5000 dollars worth of work done to my car at HW KIA on Manchester. When I picked the car up it had a horrible knock. I had the man at the desk come out to tell me what it was. He (******) said KIA's are loud and to have my husband take a look and if he thought there was something wrong bring it back. My husband said something was wrong. He took it back up there. They then told him it was the serpentine tensioner and wanted another 600 dollars to fix something that was not making that noise prior to me just having all that work done .We said no and ordered the part from Rock Auto and my husband put it on. Still had the noise. We took it back again. They looked at it said they still thought it was the tensioner because I bought after market part from Rock Auto I should try and get my money back and buy the part from KIA or it could be something else. Never once explaining why the vehicle did not make the noise until they did their work. I ended up taking it to a mechanic in my area. Explained the whole situation. He looked at the car ordered the KIA part from KIA out it on and it still was not the issue. He said that not only was that not the issue but there was a significant oil leak in the front of the motor around where KIA had just done all the work and that the knock was an engine knocking noise. He wrote it up and told me that I needed to take it back to KIA. KIA has messed me around with everything to do with this car since I bought it. I had concerns about the oil consumption over and over and they never took care of but continuously gave me the run around or flat out lied to me until it was no longer under warranty and now that the warranty is up I am putting out tons of money for repair costs to pick the car up and it be making noises it did not make until they supposedly fixed it. Now I find that it is not only burning oil it is leaking it. Which I am sure the motor is on its last leg now and I just paid this car off 1 month ago.

So glad I met ****. She took the time to really here about my situation. I never felt judged or rushed with her. she was informative and gave some great advice to help me out for success in getting my credit fixed
