I had took my vehicle to A23 Body repair and car detailing shop in Monett mo. They had my vehicle for about 2 weeks and when I went and picked it up. After looking over the vehicle there was chipped paint for where they had painted the doors. Both drivers and passenger door had to be replaced. The door isn’t lined up correctly and it makes a beeping sound when you open and shut the drivers car door. Well I emailed them and told them what was wrong and he had me bring it back in and he repainted the doors to fix the chipped parts. And gotta take it back in for them to have it all day again to fix the doors. But there is still chipped paint on my drivers and passengers doors. I will not recommend this shop. If I knew what to do about my vehicle getting fixed again with another shop I would take it there. But since it’s a insurance claim fix I’m not for sure on what to do.

This issue was already resolved, the customer was aware that insurance did not want to pay for new doors, used doors where provided by her personal insurance, Customer has also agreed to resolve the issue with a discount on the final bill documented as well for the repairs in which she did not even pay us a full deductible of $700. A scheduled appointment was made to follow up on the issue that she also did not show up to a second time. The amount it took to fix the vehicle is not our fault, the insurance provided us with  11 business days for repairs and repair approval and we delivered it with in that time frame provided as we have no control over that, it's all up to her personal insurance and parts availability. The customer chose to repair her vehicle with us through her insurance and we simply followed her personal insurance protocol. If the customer wishes to have further repairs made she will have to pay for added provided services that she or her personal insurance did not pay for. Everything is documented by both parties as well as the insurance and the estimate provided by us and the insurance. If she wishes to follow up with any further action or complaint she may reach out to her insurance as they are responsible for the estimate and any repairs made by us. She also approved repairs and took delivery of her vehicle personally and she later decided she wanted a bigger discount for issues not related to the repairs approved.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:For one he scheduled an appointment to have me come in and wait for him to paint the doors again and I showed up and that’s when I showed him the doors don’t line up and that’s there a big gap that lets air inside through the doors. He said he would need more time to fix the doors then just a few hours. So we agreed to bring it back and drop it off on my day off. I called and he had no one show up for work plus it was raining outside so he put it off until tomorrow. Second off I haven’t missed and appointments with them. Also I never new I had used doors put on because my insurance company just gave me the estimate and the money to pay the shop. They offered to take $400 off the deductible before they even had my business. They are lying to you guys.

      Sincerely,

      ******** ****

Yes we offered and customer accepted. We also offered to fix what insurance didn't want to pay for free of cost. We no longer wish to pursue this as we aren't even subscribed with BBB.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and yes this company fixed what they hadn’t done right the first time. The only thing is now I’ve got to take it to the dealership because of the noise it makes when you shut the drivers side door with the key fob in it. And because they used used doors and not brand new ones the car makes the sound. I’m done with this company. They haven’t once took credit for there mistakes

      Sincerely,

      ******** ****
