I hired Charity Restoration on 9/1/22 to replace my roof and install new fascia, soffits, and gutters. *****, the owner was very polite and friendly in the beginning. After work began, I contacted ***** with concerns regarding the professionalism and workmanship of the installation. I was assured everything was being installed correctly and "to code". *****'s main concern was getting paid; he requested final payment before the job was complete. ***** did send a worker to repair a small area of the guttering that was not installed properly (all they did was fill it with caulk). I reluctantly paid for the entire roof installation and over half of the fascia, soffit, gutter installation before the job was complete. ***** did nothing but "gaslight" me when confronted with my concerns/complaints. I was upset and in disbelief at his level of rudeness and unprofessionalism when speaking with him on the phone. Only after I paid another company to photograph the shoddy workmanship and threaten to take legal action did ***** agree to do repairs. On 11/18/22 he and his crew showed up to do the repairs and he insulted/upset me to the point I insisted he get off my property. I do not want him attempting to repair anything on my home. I paid ******************** to repair the roof (copy of payment and invoice attached) and I am still saving & looking for someone reputable to repair/replace parts of the fascia, soffits, and gutters. I want a refund from Charity Restoration for the amount I paid ****** to repair the roof around chimney, skylight, and cupola ($1750). I also want a refund for half of what I have paid Charity Restoration for the fascia, gutters, etc. ($3418) as I will need to have these repaired properly by another company. I feel this is more than fair after everything I have gone through since dealing with this company. I also want a lien release/waiver from Charity Restoration. I will attach copies of estimates/payments/cleared checks/photographs, etc.

As you can see by the email communication chain, we made every effort to make any of her is***s right.  We met at the house on Nov 18th 2022.   I had all my roofing, guttering, and soffit/fascia contractors with me to make any final repairs, have it inspected by **************** and finalize the job.  She met me in the parking lot with cameras instead and started cussing at us telling us that we are crooks and that she didn't want us to touch her house.  Her mother also began screaming at us and made slurs towards my roofer and guttering person.   We have ALL of this digitally recorded as well.
We showed up at the agreed time (shown in the email communication with ****************).  She chose not to allow us to make the repairs she originally requested.
I cannot help if she did not want revisions, and that she only wanted to not pay for the work performed.
Again, we showed up as agreed, and she sent us away.  Her choice.

This situation is just another event for ****************.  She has made a habit out of replaying much of this exact situation.
My attorney has found multiple cases of her against other contractors including remodelers and repair men.  She claims items are not done correctly/timely and then either underpays them or attempts to *** them in court.
We also have a mutual friend who has confirmed these findings.

I can guarantee she has not spent more money on "repairs" from our company's "shoddy work" than what she still owes me for the job.
She still owes our Company over $5k.
