I signed two contracts with ******* Exteriors on July 17, 2023; one for roof repairs and the second for siding repairs. ******* Exteriors finished the roof repairs and I paid them on September 29, 2023 for the roof. At this time at the end of September, the owner, **** *******, stated via text their siding supply company should be able to start taking orders in about 2-3 weeks. He stated he would keep me posted. I had not heard from **** so I text him (our normal correspondence during the roof repair) on October 31, 2023. When I didn't hear back from him, I texted him again on November 7, 2023 asking for a status update on the siding. Still no response from him so I called and left a voicemail (my outgoing call log says 37 seconds) on his cell phone (it was his cell and not a wrong number since the greeting said ****) on November 13, 2023 at 9:49 am asking again about the siding status. Still no response from **** (owner), so I called the office line ************ on November 16, 2023 at 8:30 am and left a voicemail (my outgoing call log says 47 seconds). Again still no response from anyone from the company so I texted **** (owner) again on his cell on November 17, 2023 stating if I did not hear from him about the siding status by November 21, I would file a complaint with the BBB. It has been over 4 months since I signed a contract for siding repair. My neighbors that had siding damage did not take 4 months with other contractors for repair. Even if ******* has the slowest siding supplier on earth, they should still respond to me with status updates when I ask for them and not ghost me. ******* was referred to me by a work colleague so I didn't just find them off the web.Customer response

Due to the retaliatory response via text directly to me from the contractor (on November 28) shortly after filing the Better Business Bureau complaint and no response from the contractor through the BBB process about the siding contract, ******* Exteriors was sent a letter directly on December 19 stating I would like to cut ties and move on.
