Its a miss leading mail (coming in my mailbox). A card in the mail saying my home warranty has expired. I dont need it or want a home warranty. Ive called the number listed and requesting to be taken off the mailing list, ive done this many times before, yet it still comes in the mailbox. When I call the person trys to sell me a warranty instead of doing what I ask. This as well happened several times. These mailers are a scare tactic to citizens of ********.

I would appreciate the assistance of the Better Business Bureau to obtain my refund. I was advised that it would take 90 days for the refund to be processed upon receipt of a written cancellation letter with this company, Secure Home Center. I feel this is an unacceptable processing timeframe and a delay tactic by the company. The payment for the policy was taken immediately on my Southwest Credit Card and the refund process should be processed in the same manner. I purchased this 3-year Home Warranty plan in the amount of $3,262.99 on February 27, 2023, with a guarantee of all items will be covered. There was a 30-day waiting period for the policy to be effective on March 29, 2023. I had an unfortunate water damage on April 5, 2023. While requesting a claim, I was advised by Secure Home Center that the policy did not reflect the guarantee of covered items, including the verbal guarantee of full replacement items without a monetary cap. Also, the third-party vendor used by Secure Home Center are not creditable as I cited in the submitted Email Cancellation dated April 6, 2023. At this moment, I realized I have been sold a Bill of Goods. I had to submit a claim with my property insurance, Progressive-Claim #*******. I have attached all communications for your assistance with this refund request (Email Cancellation submitted April 6, 2023, and Letter Cancellation on April 12, 2023, with *** Delivery Confirmation on April 17, 2023, and other relative documents. In addition, I have read the other five (5) complaints submitted against Secure Home Center, and it appears to be a Ponzi / ************* scheme company. I hope you can help me recover my refund immediately.

I have also filed the attached complaint with the ******* ********** of ********************************** for additional assistance to obtain my refund and report this companies Ponzi Scheme.

It appears that the company is ignoring the BBB filing for a refund resolution.

I purchased a policy September 22,2022 and canceled verbally and in writing within 30 days for full refund. I was told that they have to mail a check instead of refunding my card back and that the check was mailed Feb 24, 2023. I have yet to receive check. When I called to speak with a manager, conveniently they are never available to speak but the staff can message/teams them with my requests and receive immediate responses that theyll look into it and/or call me back but of course doesnt happen. Not too mention, one of the staff members lies with her documentation and very rude.It is now March 22, 2023, I have not received a refund and would like card refunded expeditiously.

I received a post card in the mail notifying me that my home warranty was in danger of expiring. The post card had my lender's information on it so I thought it was mailed by my lender,. When I contacted the number on the card, I realized that it was an outside warranty company offering a warranty on my appliances beyond the year warranty that came with my home. ***, the insurance agent who I spoke with, provided details of the extended 3 year warranty and the cost of coverage. I explained to him that I wasn't sure if I needed it and wanted to do some research before purchasing. He assured me that if I purchased it that day and discovered that I already had adequate coverage, I would receive a refund if I called back. I went ahead and purchased the coverage but later discovered that I did already have coverage for my appliances so I did not need the coverage through the Secure Home Center. I called back later that day to cancel the policy and was told that my policy had not yet been written and to call back to cancel once the policy was in place. I have called back repeatedly to cancel the policy and they are refusing to cancel it. They charged my credit card $190 and I requested a refund but this was also refused. The customer service representative, ******, refused to let me speak with a manager because 'the manager does not have a phone'. ****** would not let me speak with anyone besides her and was extremely unprofessional during our entire conversation. She kept placing me on hold for several minutes and would not return to the call. This company is clearly trying to force me to keep a policy that I do not need nor want. I was told by the insurance agent *** that I could call and cancel the policy if I did not need it but clearly they want to keep my money. I just want a refund because I do not need their services. I would also like to speak with someone besides ****** who is obviously being dishonest about the manager not having a phone. This is a scam!

This company reached out to me shortly after I purchased my new home last year. Their letter made it sound as if I was required to get this home protection policy. I spoke with them and paid them a deposit but then learned it was not needed or required. I called to cancel the policy and was told I would get a full refund of my deposit. I never received the refund and called them again and was told the cancellation would have to be in writing. I followed all the steps to cancel and they still will not provide me the promised refund.
