Back on July 30th, 2022 I made a down payment on a wedding dress at Smile and Blush Bridal Boutique in *************** for my wedding which is on June 3rd, 2023. My dad and I have been making payments on the dress since August 2022 and we have paid $1457.26 towards the bill of $1821.56. I have attached the invoice of all payments made. I was told by the owner, ******, that the wedding dress and alterations of the wedding dress were included in the price and that she would reach out at the end of 2022 to schedule my first alterations appointment. January 2023 arrived and I hadn't heard from ****** so I called and texted the number I had been in contact with her before, the number written on the invoice, and multiple other phone numbers that came up when using ******* None of the phone numbers had voicemails and would just ring and ring with no answer. I then did some digging and found a ******** post from a business of ******'s (different than the name of the store that we went to) that her business has closed on November 29th, 2022. I could not find the ******** page of the boutique anymore and all websites were shut down. I was not notified of the closure so I reached out via email. ****** responded a few times but I was confused on what dress she had for me as the dress I tried on in the store was way too big for me, I was never measured in store for my dress, and I was told the price was to include alterations. After lack of response, we had to go buy another wedding dress from a different store due to the typical timeframe of wedding dress arrival being 6-8 months and I was already less than 5 months away from my wedding date. I notified ****** that we would like a full refund. I have had no response from her. There have also been many complaints on ****** and other various sites of similar issues resolving in loss of money. We are very disappointed as this is a significant amount of money for us and we want a full refund.Initial Complaint

Purchased 5 bridesmaids dresses (all on different dates, most if not all were in November of 2021). The dresses were not ordered at time of purchase, and when 2 bridesmaids went to get measured around March 11, 2022, we were told the dresses were discontinued. I emailed the business and requested a refund for the 5 dresses that would equal close to $512.05 or $102.41 each. I was told it would take **** business days. As of August 2022, we have not been given a refund for a product that was purchased but not provided. We've reached out numerous times for an update and each time we are given a different excuse without any follow up.
