On April 25, 2024, I purchased two ****** F350 outboard engines including props, controls, harness, and gauges. Seller/******** confirmed engines were in great running condition, ***** be very happy with them for sure.Unfortunately, this was NOT true. Engines arrived with issues such as the following: *************** pump Defective trim relay Damaged VST system Undisclosed cosmetic scratches I have attempted to contact the seller/******** on multiple occasions but he has stopped responding to calls and messages which I find very unprofessional. He was mostly only responsive during the sale. The engines were posted on **** and I was initially quoted $26,396 but finalized the purchase directly from the business for $26K.I am claiming for $4K as a refund for all parts and services rendered to make the engines useful.Notably, the boat is still at a marine shop awaiting replacement parts to get completed.I have attached reference photos here. I apologize as always if any customer has a problem. We were not aware of any problems with these engines when they shipped from our store in ******, MS. The engines were ran and shifted with no problems prior to putting them on the pallets. We do not agree with the full amount of $4,000 being proper charges. We will offer the customer half of that as a good will act showing we're trying to help. Although used engines are typically sold with no warranty.
