the company completed services on my air conditioning back in May 2024 and i was told that i would receive my receipt via email but i never did. When i reached out to the company about my receipt/invoice i was told they would bring it to me personally, but that never happened either. They company is 45 minutes away from my home i told them to mail it postal mail if they have to, that would be fine. All i want is my receipt/invoice for the service they completed in case something was to go on with my air conditioning i have no proof of service. I've been reaching out via phone/ text and i am getting no response lately.Business response

Evolution was assigned by my home warranty to perform the repair on my AC unit in 4/23. They diagnosed the issue as needing an evaporator coil replacement on 4/15/23. They made the "repair" on 5/2/23 & I paid them my out of pocket cost of $850.75. ********* told me that if there were any issues, to contact him directly. On 5/7, after giving the repair time, we noticed the house was not cooling as it had prior to the install of the new coil. I contacted ********* & he responded on 5/8 & said he would be back that day to look. He did not show up. He said he would be by on 5/10 & did not show up, He had a crew come check the outside unit on 5/11, I offered to allow they to look at indoor unit but they said it was not necessary. The unit was barely blowing cold air indoors & would not cool the house to what the thermostat was set to. By 5/16, I messaged ********* again because he had not responded & he advised they would be back 5/18. He did not show up or communicate to any messages until 5/21 when I messaged that he had overcharged for the repair & that the AC was still not working properly. He said he would issue a refund if the overcharge & be out to repair the unit 5/23. He came out & looked at the unit on 5/23/23 & said there was no issue & the the unit was just not going to cool my house to the temp on the thermostat & I needed to run window units to help keep it cool. The unit then began having high pressure lock outs that caused the unit to shut itself off multiple times a day in addition to not cooling the home. I was in contact with ********* via text for weeks & he would tell me he was going to "make it right" & was in contact with Trane support. He finally stopped answering any messages. I have requested he refund my out of pocket costs & he said he mailed a check pm 8/18 which was never received. I have offered to meet in person & also given my CASHAPP info & he still will not issue refund as promised. I had to have another company come fix the issue Evolution caused.Customer response

I was contacted on Friday 9/8 by ********* at Evolution and he asked for me to resend my Cash app information to him for the refund. I did so immediately. Lasted that afternoon, I messaged him to confirm he had received it and he said he had. I did not receive the refund throughout the weekend or Monday. On the morning of Tuesday 9/12, I messaged him and asked if he intended to issue the refund. He said yes but would need to bring a check because he had to cancel the card on that account but that he would be in my area that afternoon and would bring the check. I told him what time I would be off work and said he could come to my place of employment to drop off the check or put it in my mailbox. When I arrived home, there was no check in my mailbox. I messaged him and let him know I was off work and could meet him. No response. 2 hours later I asked him if he was unable to meet this evening, I would gladly meet him the next day. No response. I offered to receive the refund through Zelle using a bank account. No response. I do not know how to make it any easier for ********* to get me the refund he stated he would be issuing on Friday, 9/8 and weeks prior to that.

Refund check from Evolution was finally received in the mail.
