TANK RENTAL WAS PAID ALMOST 10 DAYS BEFORE YOU TOOK THE ***** PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY YOU TRESPASS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY AND TAKE WHAT HAS BEEN PAID FOR?

on 12/19/22 , i visited the *********** office of madison river propane, there were issues with my account that needed to be corrected, i was told tbe account was fixed, i informed them of the coming cold weather and that i needed a delivery, i was told by the staff that i would be fine but that they would het me on the schedule, on 12/22/22 at 3:00 am my furnace quit due to lack of propane volumn in my tank and my pipes froze and busted, i called ***** and he said there was nothing he could do. i will pursue this matter in court to recoup my cost for fixing my water linesInitial Complaint

My father is a 73 year old physically disabled man that lives in a home where propane is the main source of heat, water heater and to ****. He was taken advantage of by Madison River Propane and due to this, he ran out of propane. This being the middle of winter, propane is always needed. My father contacted Madison River Propane in ******** two weeks prior to running out, about filling up the propane tank. They gave him a date and then did not show or call. He called that day to find out and they said they will be there in 2-3 days at which point my father waited 2-3 days and again, they did not show and no call was made to him. I got involved and called them saying my father has now run out of propane seeing as this went well beyond 2 weeks and needs an emergency 200 gallons. He has not heat, no means to warm water or ****. He is severely physically disabled and heat is a necessity for him to function. They said they would come out that night and fill 200 gallons but would charge my father an extra $175 because its an emergency fill. I pointed out they no showed twice and need to waive the emergency fee. The woman on the phone said she would call back after talking to her boss but she never called back. They called the next day and left a message saying they would come in 2 days. Today is that day and they again never showed or called. They are taking advantage of a 73 year physically disabled man who did everything right to get propane delivered just so they can squeeze another $175 on top of the regular price. He has a comprised immune system and can not function in a home that is now at 42 degrees and dropping. He did seek propane elsewhere but Amerigas said it would be $1000 because of inactive filling for 12 months. My dad does not have that kind of money and its actually terrible that they would charge huge fees on top of regular prices knowing people need propane out here.Business response

On January 30, 2022 Madison River Propane had issued a check #****** in the amount of $49.90 and mailed to *********************** , ****** had deposited and cashed the check on February 09,2022
