Back in July, I had to switch bank accounts for security reasons. My account with ********************** was being withdrawn automatically from my bank account. I called the business several times and left multiple voicemails over the span of weeks to get into contact with the business about the change. I also drove to the business to talk with the insurer directly and he was never there.After months of not hearing back from this insurer, I assumed that my policy would be cancelled. Today I received a call from a collections agency for not paying a bill, that I did not have access to through the business. A quick ****** search will show other individual's reviews of frustration for similar reasons, stating how unreachable the individual running the business is.I was never given proper notification and may have my credit affected as a result. I never received calls back, and am now facing potential damage to my credit through collections. I think there may be unethical business practice.Initial Complaint

I received auto insurance from this company. They took my first payment. And he charged me a late fee that was solely because he didnt push a button. He admitted that. But refused to reimburse the fees. So I contacted the actual auto insurance company as he is just the broker. They reimburse that fee as it was clearly their mistake. After that he refused to return my calls in regards to setting up my payment on a different card. So I started calling the actual auto insurance company again to try to do the card switch with them. They wouldnt return my calls and each time I called them they just transferred me to people over and over. I went through two months of trying to call both of them with no resolve. Then I started working on getting auto insurance through someone else and all of a sudden I got a text from a collection agency saying I was turned into collections by them. Ive never received anything in the mail stating anything about a past due notice or the notice that I was going to collections. When I called Affordable Insurance and left a message that I was going to turn him into the Better Business Bureau since I was not getting calls back and then turned into a collection agency he called me right back. He was very mean on the phone saying he never got any of my messages. I told him but you got the message about me turning you into the Better business bureau and called me back right away. I really need assistance on getting this guy reported for his bad business. It really seems like I was involved in a scam.
