I took a rafting trip last month, my 11 year old son got food poisoning after eating the food they provided to him. We booked 3 days and 2 nights, but he puked and had bad stomachache the whole night and cant continue the next day. The guides were extremely rude for us, and were very upset for us telling them to go back the second day. The owner wouldnt allow any refund. They had us 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) stayed in a small tent, me and my friend felt awkward, they never did any efforts for language barrier since we dont speak English at all. Please help us to get partial refunds for the situation. My son is unable to go to a ER because we didnt have insurance for this country.Business response

Please find our attached dispute to this. The guests attended an overnight trip with us and neglected to purchase any trip insurance to cover costs of having to end trip early. No other guests or employees reported any food illnesses. The guests were eating their own food in addition to what we provided. Onions which the guest claimed caused the food poisoning got no one else sick. Food that the guests brought was not refrigerated in any capacity. There is a difference of food poisoning and overeating to the point of sickness.
