      I have been a customer of this dealership for over 12 years. I have purchased 2 cars of the 4 toyota's I've owned. Recently, I went to the dealership for an oil change. The light was turned off for my service indicator, and the oil change sticker was changed. When I got home my husband discovered I had dirty oil. I called the dealership only to find my oil had not actually been changed, even though that's what I made the appointment for, and I learned it wasn't the first time that I had taken it in for an oil change and the service hadn't been performed. When I contacted the service manager JD he was extremely rude and disrespectful and confirmed it was not changed. When I asked why he said it wasn't time. I change my oil every ***** miles, that is my right and I go to pay for it, but it was the end of the day, and frankly I guess they didn't want to do it, so the sticker was changed, the light was turned off and I had not a clue until my husband checked it. When I called the service manager was so disrespectful and rude. He did not care, talked to me horrifically and then smarted off telling me he'd show up at my home at 1 am. It was off-putting. When I contacted the general manager of the Asheboro dealership the following week his only answer was to come see him next time to ensure the oil actually gets changed. If this is happening to me, the chances are pretty good it's happening to others. I did try to contact corporate, but they did not care to respond. Businesses like this have to be reported and should have a better standard to how they operate.

      Bought a new 2024 grand highlander limited back in November 2023 from modern Toyota of Asheboro. Received notification one month ago that my 2nd key was ready. Called and made an appointment with manager **. Went to the appointment they had no clue I was coming because their server was down. Made another appointment 2 weeks out for today 7-8-24 at 4:30. Arrived at 4:15 to be told server went down again at 1:00. I didnt receive a phone call canceling my appointment Or anything. I waste my time and money twice now. Their costumer services sucks! I shouldnt have to take off work to drive all the way there for nothing. This is 2024 if your server goes down it shouldnt stay down for awhile. Plus other people were there getting their service done but somehow I can never get my service done.

      I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. No one from Modern Toyota has reached out to me. The service manager ** is fully aware of what has been happening and hasnt made any attempts to contact me. No attempts have been made to justify their actions.

      I purchased car parts to fix my car. The parts that came were defective or I received the wrong parts. Due to the nature of the parts (wheel bearings) in order to know if they are defective or the wrong part they must be installed first. Modern Toyota is refusing to return the parts siting that , "they were installed". This is very poor business practice. It should be made known clearly that they do not accept returns for much of their products. If I would have known this I would have used another company.
