Without notification a enhancement charge of ***** was created and charged to me earlier in the year with the pretense of being a one time charge to reopen the pool area and upgrade the facility.To date the pool has not been reopened and they have not provided any enhancements.The condition of the gym has deteriorated with broken down equipment, removal of popular equipment, and overall cleanliness especially showers - locker rooms Members have been unknowingly charged for something they are not receiving.We are owed our money Back!Business response

We took over the facility from Gold's Gym corporate in September of 2023. We adjusted some of the pricing such as adding in an enhancement fee like our other clubs so we can do club improvements such as new equipment's, renovations, and so on. Notifications were put out on the club life app that is offered to every member. He declined the option to use the club life app so he would not have received this notification because of that. We also sent emails about this. This is to hit 2 times per year of $34.99.
