      I went to Allergy Partners in Asheville, **, on December 16, 2021 with my daughter to have both of us tested for allergies. When I checked in, I asked the person at the front desk to give me an idea of the cost, and she said the nurse would give me a quote for the tests for my approval. Well, the doctor came to ask questions and then sent the nurse to do the tests, but nobody ever mentioned how much they were; the nurse just showed us a list of things we could be tested for and we chose some. She came in the room to test me while my daughter was being tested in a different room. I had no reaction whatsoever to any of the substances she tested for. Then she came back and proceeded to test me for basically the same things in a different way (a syringe). She never mentioned how much it would cost, or that each test was charged separately, or that the second round of testswhich was completely unnecessarywas more expensive. When the doctor came back into the room, all she had to say was that I could take allergy medicine, and that the tests were not for food or environmental "sensitivities," only for allergic reactions. Gee, thanks for nothing! As it turns out, by looking at my insurance account, I ended up with an $900 ****! For ONE visit! For useless tests! This is not a medical facility, it's a greedy company fleecing unsuspecting customers.I'd like a refund at least for the second round of tests, which were completely unnecessary and as useless as the first ones.
