On Jul 2, 2024 I had taken my 2012 Hyundai ****** Hybrid to Crenshaw Hyundai for a software update resulting from a recall notice. Experienced acceleration issues; returned to Crenshaw, a service technician confirmed the acceleration issue. After inspection, ___(service manager) called and informed me I would need a new transmission due to software issues. I was disheartened because prior to the software install the car was running great and in pristine condition. Crenshaw ordered and installed the transmission; picked up my car on July 11, 2024. I noticed three of the rims were damaged. Asked to speak to the service manager, he was off that day, the ____ **** filled in. I told him about the damaged rims (discoloration wheel coating ruined), he flatly told me there was nothing he could do about it. He said he had already given me a new transmission .The **** ____ refused to address the damaged rims, asked me to leave and threatened to call the police. The police came and told me the manager informed them I was trespassing which was totally false, it was a lie. I told the police I was there to pick up my car and noticed damage. ___ (**) had no justification escalating the problem, calling the police; refused to address or even acknowledge the damage and told me never to come back. As a 78 year old army veteran I felt totally disrespected humiliated /exploited. The new transmission was not performing as expected, took the car to Capital Hyundai (08/01/2024) after being barred from Crenshaw by the *** Capital discovered that the new transmission was defective and needed to be replaced. After working with the Hyundai Corp and Capital Hyundai, the defective transmission was replaced. I request this matter be looked into/investigated by Crenshaw ownership. I am also requesting Crenshaw repair the damaged rims. Crenshaw has not responded to my letter; ruined my transmission, refused to service the replacement in addition to ruining my wheels/rims.Customer response
