I closed on a loan, unfortunately, with Guaranteed Rate Affinity (see separate complaint). GRA promised me that all of my creditors getting paid off with the loan, would be paid electronically. it IS the 2020s by the way. When I closed with the Boston National person, they said the same thing. NOBODY told me I'd get a stack of checks a week later. This stack of checks includes the $263k mortgage payoff check. I should NOT have gotten those checks. I did call and complain, got them to electronically pay off the mortgage. But all of the other checks they mailed me, that I in turn had to mail all the creditors (NOT MY JOB)....NONE of them have cashed the checks. Now everything is late. i was SUPPOSED to be getting out of having to pay those because they were being paid off. NOW I have a HUGE new mortgage due, August 1st. I was supposed to be getting a payment holiday of ************ THAT didn't happen either, I ended up paying my June mortgage payment because it was going to be LATE.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: well they are forcing me to either accept or reject the response. so in order to keep the review process open, i am replying in this manner. Now it is down to TWO creditors saying that they didn't receive their checks. I think those checks need cancelled and Boston National issue them direct electronic payments.

Good morning we are continuing to work with the consumer to get the issue resolved. This process does require communications with the consumer and the payee on the subject check. We are in the process of selling a home that we inherited from my husbands father when he passed away. During the closing process it was learned that the title for the mobile home had never been filed with the **** Boston National ************ Home Title Service to have a new title issued and then have it retired. For over a month we have been asking Boston National for an update on the process. Every single time we have gotten a response back saying it was in the hands of the *** and there was nothing they could do. Come to find out today, when we were supposed to close back in ****** ****** Home Title Service informed us that they had been asking Boston National for a copy of the deed and the new buyers mortgage information and they had failed to provide it to them. so for over a month, Boston National kept telling us that it was in the hands of the *** when it was sitting on their desk! The buyers rate has since expired and they have had to pay for have it extended and it is about to expire again and she will need to have to pay to have it extended again. I have asked at least 3 times for Supervisor and Managers contact information and have yet to receive it.Business response

On June 8, 2022 BNT contacted the consumer and advised them that the issue is being worked on and we will continue to resolve the issue that was present when Boston National Title Agency LLC was selected as the title agency to provide a owners policy.
This issue was not created nor contributed to by Boston National Title Agency caused by the previous owners failure to properly retire the manufactured home title.The Attorney firm for this file
