      I purchased a new Subaru Ascent from Cross Creek Subaru on June 9, 2023.This vehicle comes equipped with SiriusXM satellite but it is not activated until the vehicle is sold.I explained to ***********************, the salesperson at Cross Creek Subaru, I did not want ************** and that I did not want it to be activated. **************** indicated that only Subaru Customer Advocacy could help me. I contacted Subaru Customer Advocacy and they simply told me that I had to get the dealer to resolve this issue.This is commonly known as the run-a-round. Such evasive efforts have left me with the opinion that Subaru and Cross Creek are not interested in any future purchases from me or my husband.I have tried to resolve the issue with Cross Creek and Subaru. After being told by Subaru to again contact Cross Creek we contacted ***************. I provided her with email transcript's with Subaru. She promised to notify me when she received the transcripts. I called her several times but she has never accepted my calls or returned my calls. I have waited patiently for over two weeks but still no response from her.I am very unhappy someone, either Subaru or the dealership, signed me up for a subscription without my permission. In signing me up they gave SiriusXM personal information which I did not want them to obtain. I don't believe that Subaru or Cross Creek had the legal right to do this without my permission. As a dual citizen with citizenship in the ** this may have violated the consent laws of the ************ Protection Regulation (GDPR).I do intend to file several complaints with both commercial and government consumer and business monitoring groups with the hope of resolving this issue. My husband and I are also looking into possible legal action.

      In regards to ****************** complaint, the customers concern was mentioned early in the discussion process of the vehicle purchase. The Sirius XM 4 month Free Trialis clearly stated on the window sticker of the vehicle she purchased.  I did let them know I would do some research to see how we could accommodate them and her concern. Multiple calls were made to Subaru of America, and it was suggested to us that the customer contact CAD,the customer advocacy department but could not guarantee that her request could be met. This information was relayed to the customer over the phone BEFORE her appointment was made to come in to purchase the vehicle. This information was shared again with her at the time of purchase but no promises were made that her request would be accommodated. Given this information, she opted to still purchase the vehicle on June 9, 2023.
