I had a service done On May 2, 2023 by Woods Plumbing. I have video of the technician and a phone call with the technician ****** after I received a bill from the property manager. They put on the invoice that I was the cause of the overflowed drain due to oil and that was not the case. I have been going back and forth with ******************* and Woods and it has been stated to me that Woods would have to change the invoice. Woods Plumbing stated that they would not change the invoice.Business response

Hello, I'm sorry to hear you've had trouble. This job was completed for a rental agency and the technician stated what was found in the drain line. That is always the job when a rental agency has contracted us to do work, to report back what was found to be the issue. It is always at the rental company's discretion how they choose to handle the billing- we never bill tenants ourselves. As you can see stated in the invoice, the technician did not blame the tenant, they can only report what was found. We hate that you've become responsible for the bill, but it is unfortunately something that we have absolutely no control over and cannot change.Customer response

I sent the recording of the technician specifically stating the reason and he would call *****************. Does that have any bearing? The technician clearly states it was not grease

Yes, we listened to the recording in which he acknowledged you. His responses dont indicate that you were either negligent, or not at fault. We can only do what is required as the company hired by your rental agency and that was to fix the problem. Regardless of what the issue was, it was identified and fixed which means we fulfilled our requirements with the rental company. They are who ultimately decides who is at fault and where the bill goes.
