I moved from ** to **..the ****** Apartments I was to move into was totally uninhabitable..I did not move my things in because of the condition inside and out. I requested to get out of the lease but was denied.. I was to pay the entire rent for the year. I ended up In a hotel. I have numerous photos of the condition of the apartment.. this was not what was promised in the Photos on line..I just want my $800.00 dollars back so I can put it towards another place to live. The ****** Apartments in ***** ***** ** are uninhabitable. Please help me.. I was left homeless and possibly negative effect on my credit.Customer response

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.
My last communication was I need to pay the rent because I signed the lease. Never slept is in this place and ended up In a hotel for 3 days.

We are subjected to live in unsafe and unhealthy conditions. I've spoken to them as well as the previous mngt about these issues and nothing is being done. My toilet, tub, and air conditioning are all broken and leaking causing damage to the apt. My ceiling under the tube has fell through causing a hole from the leak. Who knows if we are showering if the tub will fall through. The toilet and air conditioning are both leaking causing mildew and mold to develope which we are breathing in everyday. When I told them once again I was told to just take a picture. Not to mention the infestation of roaches. They have also lost my leasing files when asked about my rent and what needs to be done. This is beyond unacceptable and something needs to be done.Initial Complaint

As of 5/7/2022 when I arrived to move my belongings to unit **** ********* ****** ******** ** ***** my key would not work, I could not unlock my doors (front or back). I called Lauren, the office assistant manager and she gave me the emergency maintenance, to have my door fixed. My family and I waited for almost 2 hours for the maintenance to come. We were able to pry the door open and walk through the unit. There were still things that needed to be repaired in the unit, that Lauren stated they would be done on 5/2/2022. My family and I walked through the unit and we wrote down a long list of things that needed to be done. On 5/9/2022, I went to the rental office with a hand written note of the repairs that needed to be done. I gave the notice to office manager Tierra H*****. Tierra and I walked through the unit and I named all the things on the list as followed: 1) Replace front door and the door frame. The front door wood is rotten. 2) The baseboard in the living room, kitchen and by the back door is rotten and has mold also and need to be replace. 3) Front window blind was improperly installed and need to be re-installed. 3) The bare wire needs to be checked by licensed electrician, 4) by the bare wire was a water leak underneath the kitchen sink. 5) Electrical outlet by the staircase in the living room sparked fire when TV was plugged in and cause an circuit outlet in the living, 6) Door to the AC unit was closed shut. The door was pried open by maintenance and there is mold and mildew. Air filter needed to be changed. 7) The bathroom upstair vanity was not installed and there was no running water. Maintenance guy came and installed the bathroom vanity and installed water faucets. 8) The shower head is still separated from the walls and the water constantly drips in the bathtub. 9) There are no interface or tabs on the knobs for the bathtubs. As of June 6, 2022, I am request my full deposit back in the amount of $1770.00. I have pictures.
