Hired this contractor to install lighting for outdoor space/outdoor shed and they did not complete the job as promised.Upon initial review of the job contractor named ***** quoted the job as **** hours of work at $125/hr. **************. To help with time/cost I personally dug approximately 100' ditch for electrical cable. Job was scheduled to begin on Thursday, 2/9/2023 but Technician did not show up. Technician arrived Friday 2/10/2023 and installed all lights and cable. One of four lights on house, shed interior and exterior lights and gazebo lights did not work. Technician came back now has all four house lights, interior shed lights and one of two exterior shed lights working. Gazebo lights will not come on. They have gone over their quoted time and will not come back to finish the job unless more hours are added to the job. This was not agreed upon.Business response

Please see the following statement provided by *********************, project manager, regarding this project:
This job was done as a time & material job with a labor rate of $125 per hour. The estimated time to do the job was **** hours.Jobs that are time & material have the potential to have a variance in the amount of hours it takes to complete the job, otherwise there would be a hard quote given with a total dollar amount beforehand. We had a tech call out of work on Thursday 2/9/23 and did not have anyone available to do the work. We were able to get a tech out on Friday 2/10/23. The job took longer than expected and did not get completed on Friday 2/10/23. A tech was sent out Wednesday 2/15/23 to finish the lights on the house and the gazebo that were not working yet. By the time the tech left our company put in over 10 hours of labor to complete the project. A project manager went on Saturday 2/18/23 to collect a check for 10 hours worth of work as agreed upon and discussed issues before leaving. A project manager came back on Monday 2/20/23 to address and correct the issues discussed and agreed upon in the conversation on Saturday 2/18/23. By the time the project manager left on Monday 2/20/23 everything was tested and working and only 10 hours was charged for the job as previously discussed.
