I took my granddaughter rescue dog because she could not keep it any longer. my granddaughter is supporting the dog , and she bought **** (dog's name) a halter from 2Hounds Invoice #****** for a total of $69.95. I carried the harness in my truck on the floor while I was NOT using it. When ever **** got into the truck the harness was PUT ON HER. It tore on both sides, like the material was OLD. 2Hounds would NOT replace it as said in their warranty, Wanted me to pay for shipping again and they would send me another harness. 2Hounds said that the dog chewed the harness, Which is a lie. The part of the harness that frayed and is almost ripped in half was on the top of her back. DON'T PURCHASE FROM 2 HOUND, their materials are c*** BAD MATERIAL and the harness didn't hook correctly either. It was twisted or something it never did seem to hook correctly. CHEATED will NEVER buy from them again!!! For the price she paid it should NOT have frayed like it did. CHEAP / I gave them one star because I can't post this if I didn't

Hi *****, I'm so sorry that you had this experience with the harness that you purchased. Our nylon material is purchased weekly from a mill here in ******* (we use *** made material everywhere we can). The harness can be chewed and that is why we have a chewing warranty. It costs us money to replace a harness that is chewed, so we charge a shipping charge. This was all explained on the website where your order was placed. Most people are grateful for the opportunity to receive a new FREE harness when their dog chews it. We wish you the best of luck!

I bought a harness because my dog trainer liked them and sold it to me. A few months after I bought it it ripped. I had spent 40 dollars on it.m and was told that it had warranty. What I didnt know is that I had to buy the warranty and the harness. So after my first harness ripped I had to not only pay for the second harness, but for the warranty and for the shipping back of the first harness. About a year later or so, my second harness ripped in the same spot. I contacted them and the person I spoke to continued to state that my dog chewed on it and that their harness dont rip. I stressed three times that my dog didnt have access to the harness unless he was wearing it outside with me. The person o spoke to also stated that I had to buy a warranty to get another replacement. Which I did when I bought the second harness. Then suddenly the company stopped communicating with me completely. 40 dollars for the harness, 14 for the warranty, and to pay for shipping back the ripped harness is a lot to spend on a harness that has now ripped in the same spot for two different harnesses. ** also not pleased that the company chose to ignore my communications while I tried to deal with a ripped harness. Needless to say I will not be returning to this company nor will I be telling people I know to buy from them.

Hi *******,On January 3rd, 2022, you reached out to us about your harness and at that time, we gave you a courtesy credit of $12.99 (the cost of the warranty) so that replacement didn't cost you anything. Please reference Order#******. I don't have a record of any additional purchases from you (direct from our company) but it is possible that you purchased another harness somewhere else (we sell wholesale to many different companies).On December 16th, 2022 (Friday) you reached out to us and we responded on Monday, December 19th. Our team does take weekends off and I apologize for the delay and inconvenience.The webbing that we use on the Freedom Harness has a **** lb test strength and doesn't just rip for the heck of it. It must encounter something sharp in order to rip. Because we already gave you one courtesy replacement (free replacement), we are not able to offer the same option a second time, a year later. Please feel free to read the reviews of the replacement warranty on our website. Customers LOVE that we even offer it (not all companies offer any type of chewing replacement for dog products).
