Miller Site Services and I were in agreement to complete grading/excavating work around the vicinity of my parents home. It took them months before they started the work process, even after receiving the deposit from us. When they finally came out they had run into an unexpected error and had to regroup, that was fine, until it took months for that process. During the entire time I kept getting different excuses of why they couldn't come, why they couldn't finish, and steady promises of different dates, but still no services rendered. Each time I would try and void the agreement, ***** would come up with an excuse and guarantee that he would be out there to complete the work. As this went on for months, I finally grew exhausted of the promises, put my foot down and told him we were halting the agreement (this was in March 2023). I told him to give us the balance of the deposit that we were due. He still kept coming up with felonious pricing to keep more of our funds due for return. When I contested the charges, we never heard back from him again, and that has been almost 2 months ago. This process has dragged from September of 2022 up until now, and we still have no resolution. My parents are retired, and of course surviving on a fixed income, to take money from them like this is in humane. I am very disappointed as I had trust in this companies services.Business response

Upon 2 working days, materials, equipment rentals, labor, and one 10 ton load of topsoil, the refunded amount from deposit consists of 555$. A check will be in the mailbox today (6/14/2023) for the amount of $555.00. Due to inclement weather and potential hazards with leech field, septic area, and private power several dry days/ weeks were needed upon starting job.
