On April 21, 2023, I met with ******************* and went over several aspects of the home building process. During this meeting I was told that it would cost an estimated amount of $40,000 to prepare my lot for building. During this meeting I was also told that there were several lighting options for me to choose from (later) when I have the color selection meeting and that the handful of other items, I'd requested pricing on, would later be provided to me. May 12, 2023, I came in for my color selection and was informed that my quoted lot prep price of $40,000 was now over $120,000, with potential to be even higher. Later on 5/12/2023, I requested a copy of this itemization in writing and have never received it. On 5/21/2023 I sent another email to ******************* detailing the items that I still had not received pricing information on, many of which were from our initial meeting on 4/21/2023. On 5/23/2023 ******************* sent me a text saying that he was updating my file with the pricing and would be in contact the next day. *** did not reach out to me again until 6/1/2023, at which time he did not provide any of the pricing details previously requested, he only requested that I come into the office. On June 2, 2023, I responded to ***'s text. I explained I was expecting to hear back from him 2 weeks earlier with pricing details from 4/21/23. Because I wasn't provided with details necessary to make decisions, I was not able to do my final run through before there was another interest rate hike. I further explained that my lot prep price going from $40k to over $120k, looks like they did not use their collective years of experience to provide me with a realistic prep cost price but instead low balled it in an effort to get me signed up. I requested my deposit of $1,000 be returned for the above-mentioned reasons as a courtesy. This simple and justified request was denied.Business response

I had a home built and the work is not satisfactory! The celings have tape showing the brick work is crooked the sliding door has no lock ! They have not completed the work they have already been paid to do! We have been taking advantage of by this builder and it is not right ! I really need help getting this home up to living standards we **** our home to get this one and have to live with these conditionsBusiness response

I am rejecting this response because:the work is not finished! Although they did meet with my wife and scheduled times, Im still waiting to see if they honor what they said they were going to do
