I was supposed to get my final dentures on september 3, 2024 which i already paid $1599 for in full. After waiting at the office for an hour, i was told the dentist sold the ************* have to start over as a new patient and repay. I contacted corporate & they did nothing. A month later and im still struggling with dentures that are terribly made and too big. At the end of the day,it is AFFORDABLE DENTURES warranty and 100% guarantee offered on the site. No matter what, the dentures i have now are economy at best when i paid for ultra premium. They are crooked, bumpy on my gums, and rough on the edges. I just wanted what i paid for, not even a refund. I will give this company 1 week to get this resolved or im going to small claims & a malpractice lawyer! I know im not the only person in my small town this affected, and we are about to become very loud.Initial Complaint

I contacted affordable dentures around March 2024. I was seen on March 12th, 2024. *************************, DDS PL#*******-9923, did an evaluation using X-rays and showed me options for performing a procedure, including using permanent implants and dentures. The total cost added up to $26,732.00. ************************* demanded a $7,000 down payment before scheduling a medical procedure to remove the bottom teeth. The procedure included sedation. After paying the $7,000, I was told that after the bottom teeth removal, I was going home with a temporary denture, and after six months, I was going to get the porcelain high-quality dentures. The procedure included the removal of four existing implants and using six new and smaller implants at the top and bottom of the mouth. The bill details the procedure. The follow-up treatment included monthly visits to ensure the gum was healing properly and there were no implant issues.I am the full-time caretaker of a disabled child with cerebral palsy and autism, and we agreed to schedule appointments after noon so I could drive from Provo with my disabled granddaughter. Affordable Dentures and ************************ started canceling my follow-up appointments and rescheduling without proper notice. I complained several times about the top denture causing pain and infections, and he used Gorilla Glue to attach a lost tooth, arguing that it was a temporary denture. I have a gum infection that is spreading to the ear and causing a lot of pain, and I was denied medical attention under the argument that he is not a licensed dentist (?) and I should see a DENTIST! I paid him the full treatment using credit cards, and I can't afford to seek help from another dentist. My health, welfare, and life-threatening condition have been compromised by an irresponsible professional who should not be allowed to practice anymore. It has been over six months, and I do not have the full permanent dentures I paid for.Initial Complaint

This business is the corporate office of all Affordable Dentures offices. All the office manager (***********************) from the location in **************** does is lie. And she keeps lying to them alleging that she sent me a release form for me to sign where in return I would receive a full refund. And all business (******* #************) keeps doing is playing mediator, claiming they cant make them do anything A corporate office that oversees and manages all offices, not able to make them do anything, especially after theyve committed consumer fraud. I have never heard such a thing If I do not receive this form for my signature and get a refund, my next step will be a complaint with Consumer Protection. Aside from the shoddy work and constant runaround, the one doctor removed gum tissue and lied before I agreed, claiming it would grow back. Its been five months and it has not grown back one bit, and it is still discolored in that area. So aside from a full refund for the services, they need to include the cost for me to have gum tissue addedInitial Complaint

On 9/21/2021 I started the process of having my teeth extracted and temporary dentures made by Affordable Dentures in **************** **. The cost of the procedure was to be $2405, which I had paid in full, this included the cost of extraction and the temporary and permanent dentures. I was told that after a year had elapsed, I would be eligible to have my final dentures. I began calling in September to schedule appointments to make this happen and was told that they were having staff issues, their dentist was unavailable, and they were not sure when he might be available to perform my work. After many failed attempts on my part, I was finally told that the dentist had left the practice and they would be unable to follow through with the completion of my services. I was issued paperwork for a refund in the amount of $1730, however this credit has never made it into my account. I was told that this company was refunding so much that their bank shut them down and they would need to handle this in a different way. After attempting to call numerous times I was told this office has now permanently closed and to date I have not received a credit for the amount promised and would like this resolved asap.Initial Complaint

I have been trying to get in contact with ***************** for 2 months now, she returned my call once but unfortunately I was not available. I have left countless voicemails with ***************** and I have reached out to customer service many many times only to be told **************** is the only one who can handle my case. I am only needing to be partially refunded for my permanent dentures only that have not been made yet & I have not received. The office I had work done at is temporarily closed and has been since December 2022. I explained to customer service that the reasoning behind needing to cancel the permanent dentures is because my spouse passed away & I can no longer afford them. Please help resolve this matter. I paid by card and refund can be sent back to card.Initial Complaint

I purchased partial dentures from the New Braunsfels, ***** location on May 27, 2022.Paid in full $1939.00.Went in for all my preliminary check-*** and impressions and on my last appointment, Dec. 5 2022 was told they would call me in 2 weeks to get my permanent dentures.I never heard back from them and when I finally called the corporate office 0n Jan 11, 2023 I was told that office has closed down. After multiple attempts to get an answer from the people I was able to talk to at the corporate office I have been unable to get any type of answer regarding where my dentures are or if I am going to get my money back. The best answer they did give me was "we will call you back", which they never did. Please note: Since the office I was using is closed my complaint is directed to the **************** which is located at *****************************************************************************************************************************.Initial Complaint

Guarantee/ warranty - Dentist there refuses to comply with company policy for full refund if not satisfied. I got a full set of dentures on 11/23/2021 paid 698.00 for the set which I can't wear them I went for adjustment on 2/8/2022and went on 2/24/2022 to tell them that I am not satisfied but because I didn't get the first wearer package cause I am disabled and have a limited budget i couldnt aford the extra money the 100 day warranty/guarantee is a joke and is just a way of saying they guarantee your satisfaction to pick and choose who is qualified I douls any of afordable dentures honors the guarantee on thei website I'm trying to figure out how that would work anyway because according to the 100 day wear a guarantee in 6 months you get your set it down err set adventures and in between you do all this adjustments that will be way past a 100 days so it makes no sense as to why I get penalized because I could not afford word the wear a package not only that I am now having to pay $745 more to line the top denture That has never been in my mouth for more than a few minutes and I have to pay another 475.00 for their screw up for a bottom denture that was not my fault It's really bad when when it comes to customer satisfaction that they're more worried about keeping money in their practice than satisfying the customer I will never give another penny to this company again cause ripped off with my full set of dentures I am not happy at all that I threw out 699 for dentures that are garbage If I had money for a lawyer I would definitely get oneBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/03/08) */ This patient presented in September 2021 for consult for extractions and denture set. A few months later the patient returned for impressions and stated she was having teeth extracted by an oral surgeon. This patient was informed that she would not be able to do a critical step called a try-in or preview of her denture because she was having the teeth removed with the oral surgeon. I explained that she could simply get the teeth out first and then return in 2 weeks for impressions for her dentures. Patient understood but declined. This patient was also informed that it's best to purchase a New Wear Denture Package(temporary set & permanent set). The temporary set would allow for unlimited adjustments and soft liners(during the healing phase) that would all be included in the NWDP price. This patient understood and stated she didn't have the money to purchase the NWDP. I reiterated having the dentures made after her extractions with the oral surgeon. Patient again, declined. I explained to the patient the importance of getting the NWDP because she will heal, and the denture will not fit correctly after her initial healing. The patient understood and signed the decline form(which she failed to mention in her review). When the patient returned, February 2022 for an adjustment, it was obvious that she had healed. The dentures were very loose which was likely the cause of her bite being off. The patient was informed that with her declining NWDP and choosing to purchase the denture prior to having teeth extracted with oral surgeon she would have to pay for reline and remake of lower. The patient then stated it was a 100 day guarantee of denture purchase. This patient received these dentures in November 2021. We are beyond her 100 days and the issues that she is having is exactly why we insisted she get NWDP or wait to have dentures fabricated after extractions with oral surgeon. The patient was given a new treatment plan for a reline of upper denture and remake of lower. Patient signed the treatment plan. The patient stated she would have to save more money to return. This patient also stated she should have listened to me and her mother in waiting to start dentures after her teeth were removed. Consumer Response /* (3000, 9, 2022/03/12) */ When I asked for the 100 day it was within the 100 days I received my dentures on the 23rd which on my paper said the 29th 100 days was March 3rd and if you go by my paper it would be March 9th so yes I was within the 100 days which your comment is false look at when I came and do the math I was very limited on income as I couldn't buy the new wear as package but I should be able to use the 100 day guarantee which I came before then look at my records I have proof You're just taking advantage of thinking it was beyond a 100 days try doing the math November 23rd to March 3rd is a 100 days I came in before March 3rd so you and your crappy business will never get mine ever again and I'll make sure everybody knows of it I wasted my money on garbage dentists
