*********, now under the business name of Inside & Out Remodeling, ************, ************************************* received a deposit of $5831 for a flooring job on Dec 10. We were estimated with a start date of 1/17. Week after week of delays, false promises, days without communication. Ultimately he now says we will get a refund in 10 days. We have zero confidence in this. If only we had seen these other complaints!?!?! We appear to be at least the 3rd customer to be the victim in this same heist. Details: Jan 11 - delay in product delivery Jan 14 - we request update Jan 15 - expected delivery Jan 19, suggests week of 31st for install Jan 28 - we request confirmation of monday start Jan 31 - staff issues, "still trying to figure out what the plan is going to be but should know today" Feb 1 - we ask for update Feb 1 - "doesnt look that I will be able to get someone out this week", "the owner will be back tomorrow and I am hoping he maybe able to help" Feb 4 - we ask for update Feb 8 - "crew all set to install on Monday" (Feb 14) Feb 14 - "running a little behind', "will have update shortly" Feb 14 - we are frustrated and ask for better explanation of where we stand on their list of customer priority Feb 14 - "should have this completed very soon" (what completed??) Feb 14 - we send more frustration and ask for a more solid plan, introduce the idea of a refund due to lake of communication and transparency Feb 15 - "will check with my boss .. see what the plan is to get your project completed" Feb 15 - we ask for the contact of the "boss" Feb 15 - no response to contact request. says he is "meeting with him in about an hour" (10am) Feb 15 - "Spoke with him today and doesn't look like we will be able to get the work done in a timely fashion. Going to go ahead and process the full refund for you. Will take about 10 business days, will have it ready by the end of the month."Business response

More information received from the consumer: OMG! *** delivered a cashier's check today! He was completely silent since the day that I submitted this complaint despite our trying to reach him. If this was your doing BBB, thank you very very much!!!
