On Wednesday September 5th, I called to alert them that I was waiting on a computer to get my car inspected to update my tags. On Thursday, September 7th, they had my car towed. They asked the towing company to come and get it immediately.Business response

Thanks again for taking the time to submit your issue. I have spoken with our security team and they have supplied the following information.
"This vehicle was parked at ******* ***************** in ***********, **. York Security is contracted through ****** Management for this parking/site check.
This vehicle, white **** Cherokee (** Tag: "omitted for privacy"), was regularly left parked in the street (Hampshire Downs Drive) and had an expired registration plate (expiring 4-30-2023 ).The night mobile supervisors placed parking notices on this vehicle 6 different times within the past 30 days. See below for dates that vehicle was ticketed:

In the parking notice/ticket, it was documented that the vehicle had expired tags and would be towed if not legally updated through DMV and moved.
On 8-28-2023, the property manager approved towing and Unlimited Towing (contracted towing company for this community) was called to remove the vehicle from the property.Unlimited Towing finally found the vehicle on 9-07-2023 and towed the same.
York Security does not tow vehicles without prior approval from our clients, so if this towing was not justified then the complaint was filed against the incorrect business. However, it would appear to me based on the information gathered that the complainant in this case was given sufficient notice to correct the issue before the vehicle was ultimately towed. There are few things more frustrating than having a car towed so I am sympathetic to your situation, but I don't think it is likely that the fee for towing will be reimbursed.
