Good afternoon,On Thursday May 2nd around 6:30pm, I was attempting to park my vehicle in front of *********************** *********** near **************************************************************. In the parking spaces, I noticed a vehicle out front parked parallel to the street, which left limited space to park my vehicle. Fortunately, there was just enough room for me to park in a similar manner behind it. I then immediately paid for 1 hour of my parking before going inside the bar. When I returned less than an hour later, my vehicle had been ticketed by this business, specifically claiming that I was "taking up three spaces". I found this odd for several reasons:1) there was zero mention or consideration of the vehicle in front of me that informed how I needed to park 2) the vehicle in front of mine was not ticketed, despite being parked there before my vehicle and in the exact same manner 3) even given where my vehicle was parked, it was not blocking three spaces (clearly illustrated in the attached photos). 4) Midway is requiring online payment and I can only use cash at the moment I immediately filed a dispute with Midway through their process, and brought up all of the above concerns. Not only did Midway fail to address any of these concerns, they claimed there was "no wrongdoing" on their end without any additional context, marked my ticket as "resolved" and are refusing to discuss with me further. Midway is now demanding $40 in payment for this ticket and has threatened to send me to collections if not received. What options are there for having this fee waived or at least put on hold from derogatory credit reporting until I can speak to a Midway representative in person. Midway is also not providing a means to pay in cash, which is the only legal tender I am currently able to use. I also suspect they are intentionally omitting information relevant to the incident, so curious how to proceed if I suspect Midway of using discriminatory practices as well.
