Horrible customer service. Told parts are on back order and that sometimes it takes up to 3 years due to COVID, and that theres nothing they can due. My mom paid over $8,000 for a custom chair less than a year ago and we just had to pay over $700 parts this month alone, including one $350 part that we were originally told would be under warranty. They were very responsive when initially buying-dont be fooled. My moms quality of life is rapidly deteriorating while waiting for parts and they are no help. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!NuMotion Response

The local store has the parts on hand to fix my daughters chair yet we are being told it will be weeks before they can get authorization. We have had insurance on file for years. In the meantime my daughter is left in pain without her customized chair. How in the world is this acceptable or ethical?NuMotion Response

Do not use this company! We have a wheelchair from them and it has had many problems. My wife is semi-quadriplegic (partial use of right hand and right leg) and in a wheelchair all day. Arm rests keep collapsing onto wheels so she cant move, bearing broke on the small front wheels, cushion wont hold air AND NU MOTION ALMOST NEVER RETURNS OUR CALLS. try to be patient but after 7 week and not hearing a word Not s single callabout the chair and when it would be finish. Be nice to go to the store Chair i total dead their tech came out he couldn't find out what was wrong as the batt were total dead said he'd have to get some ***** than come back to find out the problem that was like 3 weeks ago. Have to pay doordash to get my food that isn't cheap I have MS and are supposed to go every few weeks for my treatment. Haven't went for thm since mid Jan i keep hearing 2 weeks but the tech still has to come out here to find out hat is wrong than what anther 2 weeksNuMotion Response

My power wheelchair arms were squeaking when I put pressure on them to stand up from the seat. Nice technician **** came out on 11-4-23 and suggested I needed braces under the arms for ore support. **** stated he would initiate the process of getting the braces through my ********* After 4 weeks of waiting I called Numotion multiple times to get updates. Spoke with: ******,******,***,*****,*****,and last was ******. I was initially told had to check with ***** notes and get back to me but they never responded. I kept calling and they would say the same thing. Finally mid December I was told waiting for notes and letter of medical necessity from my Neurologist. I asked Numotion to keep in contact with me about status but never happened. We are now into January **** and finally was given to ****** who was the person handling my case. I spoke with her initially and she seemed nice and I asked her to keep me informed which she did not! ****** would not return my calls and finally stated she had the information and sent it by email.I will state some of the delay was my neurologist office not sending information. We are finally ready for installation of ********** 2-27-24, almost 4 months from when we started. I wished I had read the reviews before I went with Numotion because I would have picked some other company.NuMotion Response

My mom's doctor wrote a prescription for an electric wheelchair. Numotion came out and did measurements of her to get the correct size. Then it was a waiting for insurance to get pre approved. Never heard anything from Numotion about being approved or the cost of the chair. The only time Numotion called was to say they were on the way to deliver it. That is when we found out they wanted $48,908.63!! Numotion is trying to say my mom approved the cost because there's signatures on the delivery paperwork but my mom can't sign her name and it's not even spelled correctly! Very disappointed in this company. They call all the time now threaten to turn her into collections but they wont ever answer the phone or return phone calls!!! Buyer beware!!!NuMotion Response

Horrible experience trying to get a power wheelchair that was safe and comfortable for months ...RECEIVED 3 chairs from them all not good for my large body type and my physical problems and disability ....last one front wheel drive went completely out of control at times in the back wheels .....after nu motion returned the payments to my insurance .....the other 2 companies we tried to get involved at some point in the process contacted nu motion and numotion told them I was the problem ......the other power wheelchair companies in the same areas have people working there that know each other because they at one time worked for the other companies also ...they talk back and forth ...once nu motion deemed me the problem ....it became a big problem for me ....I already filed a grievance with ******** and I am not going to give up until I find a company that won't let me down ....it's still hard for me to believe that I have gone through this being a disabled person and I have good insurance that's willing to get me what I need ...NuMotion Response

Do not do business with them! Theyre a predatory company that doesnt care about your mobility and independence. So much red tape and unnecessary steps even when you just need repairs. No urgency either m because they dont view us as people. They dont care about our lives. We NEED right to repair laws! Numotion knows we are a captive market and they monopolize it. So many people have been harmed by their wait times and they buy out the smaller mobility companies that actually care. What some dont realize is that Numotion doesnt make the equipment. Theyre just a middleman dealer that drives up the cost of equipment even more!NuMotion Response
