I purchased a vehicle at Terrific Cars in Wilson, ********************** on Feb 10th, 2022. I paid a down payment. The car was a used car. Within a week of purchase the tires we causing the wheel to shake. I took the car to a mechanic who advised me that all the car tires were different sizes. This vehicle information should have been disclosed to me. This car inspection was passed but the tires weren't the proper tires for the car which was a safety concern. This vehicle should have never passed inspection because it was a safety threat on the highway. I would challenge an investigation on passing fictitious car inspections. Reported the findings to the pay here dealer and was advised: "as is". I voiced my concerns. Fast forward to last week May 12th, 2023 my car was repossessed; my car is paid up until June 2023 and insurance is active. I called the dealership to understand why my car was repossessed; the Dealer said I didn't have any insurance. I informed the dealer (******) that was an error on his behalf because I indeed have insurance and my car payment is up to date. I asked how I can get my vehicle back he proceeds to say I must seek legal counsel to get my car back. He didn't want to come to an agreement in relation to repossessing my vehicle without cause. He violated my rights under the contract. I am aware that buy here and pay here shops in ************** find ways to breach contracts and re-sale cars. It has come to my attention that this particular dealer has a shop that is willing to pass fictitious inspections without proper guidelines and requirements upheld. To further support my claim. On ****** reviews, there are many complaints about how this dealer breaches contracts and repossesses people's vehicles without cause. As well on the better business bureau, this dealer has a D rating and consumers have stated the same thing happened to them with the same dealer. Terrific Cars have shown a continuous pattern of unethical and illegal business practices.Business response
