i dont know how you other people got such good results from this company. i had them remove and replace a piece of my existing driveway in July. It was a disaster from begining to the end and i did not get some issues resolved even now. Poor removal of asphalt driveway, terrible work when they poured the new stuff. Short of help, concrete was on the truck way to long because they were still layin in rebar and gettin the forms set. When they finally started to pour it was 2 guys and a lady. a friend of mine stopped by to see me and he jumped in to help them otherwise they would have lost the concrete. Hard to screed off, concrete was settin up almost right away comin off the truck, finally 2 other guys showed up to work but it was half done. And the result is my driveway has got a whole lot of cosmetic issues, water stands in places on the new slab. not level by any means, and just a big ass flop. Matt kept tellin me he would be out to spray a sealer on it, and bring out a grinder to knock down the high spots. Kept puttin me off, wouldnt respond to my phone calls or text messages. Finally got ahold of him when i used a different phone to call him. Stalling, more and more. I finally out of frustration just told him to forget it and i will hire a competant person to try and do somethin with my driveway. In all, it looks like crap, holds water and other little things. But i paid him in full thinkin he would take care or at least try to do somethin but 6 months later i got a brand new driveway that looks horrible. He is a real good talker. 2 stars.

We are sorry that you had such a negative experience with our company. We go above and beyond with all of our customers. We gave you a great deal on the cost of the concrete pad. That being said, sometimes issues arise that are not within our control. For example, your drainage issue has nothing to do with the quality of work; the concrete truck arriving an hour early wasn't within our control; and your friend(who was paid by our company) choosing to "jump in" was not by our choice.
We also discussed the drainage issue with you prior to accepting a deposit. We addressed the drainage issue to the best of our ability because you stated you could not replace the entire driveway. With regard to your other complaints, we would like to add that the only thing for which we were paid was the concrete driveway pad while all of the dirt work and drain tile was done for free. When you paid us in full after a month, there were no complaints or issues at that time.
As for failing to continue contact with you after the job was completed and paid in full; we did communicate that we wouldn't be able to come and seal your driveway for free as well. We communicated this to you repeatedly. You kept wanting more work done that was not involved with the concrete we were hired to pour. We couldn't continue working for free, if you wished to seal the driveway it would be at an additional cost to yourself. At that point your text messages became extremely inappropriate and abusive. The issues you have mentioned here were not within the scope of work that we were hired to complete and which we did complete. In construction, sometimes things happen that aren't always ideal. We do our best to provide quality work at a low cost. We went above and beyond on this job.
