On 11/15/2021 between 4-5:00pm - Jeremy *. ******* came to my household to assess our current heating situation and recommended a Mini split system (we were already considering this). He seemed knowledgable, honest, and straight forward. That evening, he sent over an estimate with all the prices for the project. I then accepted the estimate and put down 50% of the total cost on 11/16/21. I put down 50% because he informed me that's what was required. After putting down the initial deposit- a receipt was sent over the same day on 11/16/21 with an appointment confirmation. In the confirmation, the tentative start date was 12/13/21 between 8-9:00am. It also stated that due to current supply chain issues, that this is a tentative start date. I was understanding about this because its evident that there are supply chain issues in almost every sector. Jeremy stated that the appointment would be confirmed with a phone call. On 12/8/21- I reached out via email to try and confirm the start date as my wife and I needed to coordinate with our work schedules to be home for the install. During this entire process- Jeremy did not have a working phone number. Therefore the only way to get in contact with him is via email. He responded (12/9/21) and apologized about the phone number mix up and stated he will know the next morning if the equipment is in and that he will also be calling on Friday with confirmation. He then reached out via email on 12/10/21 stating the indoor units are in, but the outdoor units are not available and he cannot confirm a start date at this time. Since this time, we have tried emailing him 3 times looking for a status. We then realized his business is temporarily closed. Our furnace is dead and he informed us that if this were to happen- he would provide a temporary solution until everything is installed. Due to the poor communication and customer service, we are looking for a complete refund. I would never recommend doing business with Jeremy H******!!Initial Complaint

New Hampshire Ductless LLC installed mini-splits at my home in September 2021. I paid the final amount due on the day the work was completed. A week later, I received a call from the electrician who NH Ductless had sub-contracted with to do the electrical work for this installation. He told me that he had not been paid for the work on my home and several other homes he had worked on for NH Ductless, and that he was discussing with his attorney the possibility of putting a lien on my home and the other homes he had not been paid for. I immediately contacted the owner of New Hampshire Ductless LLC, who told me he was in litigation over a business disagreement with the electrician which he could not discuss. He assured me the electrician had been paid in full for my job. I accepted this at first, but after NH Ductless did not show up for a mini-split job scheduled at a friend's home, I spoke with an attorney friend who advised me to get documentation showing the electrician has been paid in the event a lien was put on my home. On November 2, I emailed the owner of NH Ductless requesting this documentation. After receiving no response for two weeks, I emailed him again on November 15 reminding him of my request. The owner responded to tell me he had forwarded my request to his lawyer who would be advising him as to what to do. I wrote back that his dispute with the electrician had no bearing on my request for documentation to prove the electrician had been paid, and that his books should have a detailed record of that payment with all pertinent information such as payment date, amount, job ID or contract #, etc. It's been over two weeks, and he has not responded to my request. I would expect any reputable contractor would gladly provide these records to protect a customer who was wrongfully threatened with a lien on his property. Of course, this assumes I am being told the truth about the electrician being paid in full.Business response
