On Monday June 10 Michael Brooks Movers arrived at 8:00 am to complete my move from ********** to ************. They did not cover/protect my Italian Leather couch nor take off the couch legs. While going down the staircase the couch was scraped against the half wall shelf. When they reached the bottom of the staircase they removed the legs at that time. The couch was then placed in the moving truck and I am not sure other items was placed on top of the couch. They arrived at my Merrimack address they took the couch out and once again the couch was scraped against the doorway. The next day Tuesday, June 11th I called Michael Brooks about this complaint. A representative from the company ***** came out the next day Wednesday, June 12th at 8:00 am and took pictures and told me he would get back to me. He told me not to expect a new couch out of this. The owner called me today Monday June 17th and offered me $150.00 for the damage. I told her I was not satisfied with that offer and would get back to her. I paid $1954.00 for this couch. I am asking for a refund of $1500.00 as this could have been avoided.
