June 1, 2022 RE: Coastal Window Mr. ****** ******* *** ********* **** * ******** ** ***** ************ ************ Re: Customer Complaint I purchased my house at ** ****** ****, Concord, NH in the fall of 2017. My home was completely remodeled by my contractor R J Snow Remodeling, 27 Penacook Street, Concord, NH. He did an outstanding job, with the exception of hiring an extremely incompetent company Coastal Windows of N. Hampton, NH, ****** ******* owner. I paid approximately $19,500 to have them all replaced and they came with a lifetime warranty. I had a window fail in 2018 and contacted Mr. Snow. He and Mr. ******* came out and replaced it in a reasonable amount of time. I then had another window fail in May 2021 and contacted Mr. ******* directly, as Mr. Snow had since retired. I was given the run around for months (see attached) and ended up having ******* ***** ***** replace it last month, which I had to pay $190 out of pocket. I then wrote a letter and sent it certified mail ($4.33) on April 27, 2022, to Mr. ******** requesting him to reimburse me. He has not acknowledged the certified letter. Attached you will find all the correspondence from me to him via text and phone calls starting May 2021 and the last correspondence was November 29, 2021; he would not answer my calls or respond to my texts, with the exception of one time in November, he told me that I should contact Warranty Services Associated Materials (****** Supply Center ) directly. Not having any information to give them, I told Mr. ******* that he needed to follow up on the claim he supposedly submitted back in May. Since Mr. ******* was not responding, I hired ******* ***** ***** to replace the window. I told them the issues I was having and they gave me the information to contact ****** Supply Center and waited until I was able to get the window directly from them. It took months before I was able to get the window due to ****** having given me the wrong window twice, then they neglected to give me a handle (operator) and *** had to come back a second time, hence the additional charge.

February 2020 we hired Andrew of Coastal Windows & Siding out of North Hampton NH to put on new siding on our house and all new windows throughout. Great job was done by Andrew and his team. Andrew stated he could also remodel our kitchen for us when we were searching for a contractor. After a while of Andrew not being able to give us a start date on the kitchen, he finally told us he was taking another job! So we went thru a couple more contractors and after 7 months our kitchen was completed. Except, the inspector will not sign off the renovation, due to one window that Andrew installed at the top of our basement stair well (in the kitchen) is NOT tempered glass. So we called Andrew on Nov. 11, 2020 to have the Sashes replaced. Andrew stated he would order the window and that it may take a couple of months! My husband called Andrew in the "couple of months" and left a message...but we got no response from Andrew. Since then my husband has made several attempts to contact Andrew and Andrew will never answer his cell phone when my husband calls or return the call. I myself tried calling him as of today March 28, 2022 and again no answer! We really just need this one window - so that the inspector will sign off on our kitchen renovation. It's been 1 year and 4 months now waiting on this window and Andrew has just ghosted us. What kind of customer service is that!
