This is in relation to a contracted exterior building project which began on 7/30/2024 - although planning for the project and signing of the contract took place in 06/24. ***** ******* is the Project Manager for the work that was supposed to be carried out. There have been a myriad of problems, but it was discovered on 8/25 that there were code ******************** manager was informed. Prior to this, project manager began demanding payment that was not in accordance with contract payment schedule and requested a different method of payment. On 8/26, he came to property and made accusatory statements. At our insistence, they corrected the code violation, but demanded that we pay for the repair. The crew have not completed the contracted work, used our yard as a storage site for their trailer and have fully completed any of the projects that were contracted. The manager has halted the crew/labor on two occasions and failed to deliver materials that have been paid for. From 7/20 - 9/16, the contractors have worked a schedule of two days, every other week. The project was intended to create greater accessibility to the exterior of the building for a disabled person and now, they only have one safe means of exit from the home.
