We purchased a Dark grey coffee table for $361.65 from Global Furniture through ****** on 2/2022. On 6/5/2024 we woke up (4:30 am) to an explosion sound & when we checked, the glass from the Coffee table exploded. I don't understand why/how when the temperature in the home was 74 degrees, I had two small ornaments that broke with the impact, and when the glass exploded it also caused damage to my leather couch. I have made several attempts to reach out to ****** (phone# ###-###-####) regarding this safety concern & to get a replacement glass. ****** refused to assist and told us to reach out to the seller (Global Furniture phone# ###-###-####) for assistance when we called Global Furniture, they informed us that they do not deal directly with customers and that I would need to reach ****** and have ****** send them a replacement request. I called 6/8/24 ****** and informed them of what Global Furniture stated to me, but they refused to assist. All I am trying to do is get a replacement glass and ask why/how and what would cause a tempted glass to explode out of thin air.
