I was overcharged by pine belt Mazda for the purchase of a 2020 ****** Impreza. It was agreed upon that I would be reimbursed the overage amount of over $1400.00, but I have yet to see a change to the financing to reflect the $895. that was to be returned, nor have I received this amount by check or cash. I have only to date received a check for ******.

On April 28, 2023 I purchased a 2020 ****** Impreza from Pine Belt Mazda. I had been trying to get a good deal. My salesperson was going to take off *******. Supposed to get a military discount of ******. Just before I agreed to purchase, he was going to "throw in" the motor vehicle costs. I stupidly made a deal for ********, which did not include all the promised discounts, but most. Then after I agreed to ******** (******** financed, ******* out of pocket), what was suppsed to be the total & final price, things were rushed because I had to go, and the salesperson wanted to close the sale. Then things got confusing, changing financing, changing registration, changing sales tax. Now, May 1, 2023 I see what they did to me. The dealership financed *********, not ********, still had me pay ******* out of pocket. So no deal or discount at all. I am a single mom an Army vet & live with a brain tumor & wanted to get my son a good deal on a dependable car before something happens to me. The salesperson knew I had a neurological impairment. The morning of the sale, I told him I was sick and exhausted (a result of my health condition). I was manipulated & taken advantage of. I am so sick and sad & didn't even realize what happened until it was too late. I have severe social anxiety. don't want to have to go back to this dealership or deal with any of these people. I should have at least gotten the sale price I agreed to, if not all the discounts that were offered. I don't understand how a person can do this to another person, who was well aware of my situation. I can't understand why a business feels they can get away with s******* over people like this. People here just treat other human beings like garbage, ripping people off and taking advantage of people who are in a compromised situation, and it's descpicable. I want my money back, so I can give that to my son for his future. I don't want any other people getting taken advantage of. It's not right.

      Complaint: 20003990

I am rejecting this response because:

There  isn't any confusion. I was manipulated, deceived, and defrauded. ****, who left no last name, phoned and left me a message, which was cut off before he provided his extension, so I have no idea who to call or ask for specifically. I want what I was told I was going to get, and pay the price I was supposed to pay. I should have ran from even considering making a purchase after your salesperson claimed all dealerships have hidden fees that will get you in the end. NO. Only the disreputable ones. I will not be treated like an imbicile. I am impaired, but that gives you no right to imply that I am confused or unaware. I think what happened was completely intentional and is a disreputable practice perpetrated upon certain customers your staff feels it can take advantage of, and I stepped right into it. It's shameful.

The advertisement price for a specific car lease is not being honored. There is an additional $1400 dollars being added to the price without giving me any information what the charges are for.

I am rejecting this response because:

I still was not answered the following questions,

If the down payment is $2999 and due at inception is $3827 what is that additional $828 for?

I was told that DMV fees are estimated at $300

I do see the advertisement has a Bank fee of $650

I do not see on the advertisement of a Dealer doc fee of $595

We received a quote from ***** blue book for a trade in for a vehicle. Pine belt mazda accepted the offer. The texted us telling us they could even possibly offer more money than the ***** blue book offer. So we drove down to meet with a guy named ****. **** "found" a few scratches on our 2016, an 8 year old car. Not one scratch was bigger than the size of a quater. Some we already just simply wiped away. **** came back with an extreme attitude and tried to low ball us. Maybe even borderline intimate us into taking much less for the vehicle. We left, and didn't accept the offer. They then went onto ***** blue book and made our vehicle not illegible for sale. We contacted the dealership, and tried to talk to **** and his manager but somehow they both weren't available as they happen to leave for the day... I question if this was really true as it was less than 10 mins later. How can lieing about getting us into the door and then trying to cheat us. This isn't ok to take advantage of regular poeple living through hard times. They should atleast pay for our time and gas, they wasted for zero reasons.

I purchased a vehicle from the dealership on 6/30/22 at the agreed price of approximately $33,700. While signing paperwork the manager kept throwing papers at me to sign. I noticed the total price came out to around 39k which i said wasnt right. He assured me it was just taxes and fees. When I got home i looked further into the paperwork and the manager added some $3500 bumper to bumper warranty that I did not agree to nor was ever even mentioned. I contacted the dealer and he sent me a form to cancel only after trying to get me to agree to it. This was two weeks ago. My loan amount has not changed and the manager is not answering my emails.
