In November of 2018, Buying.com launched their website where they give a buying.com token to investors. There was a discount of 20% for early buyers of their tokens in their inaugural offering. Six of my close relatives and acquaintances used my affiliate link on Buying.com to buy $13,500 worth of tokens. Time seemed to stand still as we waited for Buying.com's tokens sale to end. After waiting for what seemed like forever, we finally received an email with further directions regarding the transaction. In about the year 2020, I called Buying.com to find out why I was unable to log in. They said the website had changed, and I needed to fill out a questionnaire and reset my account before I could get the tokens. I complied with all protocols. Buying.com was supposed to transfer the tokens to an Algorand account. Many months passed with no token movement taking place. The coins are supposedly stored in a cold storage facility until we can get our hands on them again. For a few more months, this gave me peace of mind. This exchange of tokens was never finalized. The funds in my Algorand account have yet to be spent. ******* from Buying.com's Telegram told me that a year ago, all of the tokens were moved, and if we didn't claim them, they were burned in the digital vault. Over the course of the past year, I made numerous calls. If we send you $13,500 in bank wire transfers, and you respond by saying, "We burned our tokens and they are gone," that is not an appropriate response. We are happy to report that Buying.com has been successful in its mission to become the backbone of the home delivery industry in *****************. As was suggested in the original token offer, all delivery services like Door Dash, Postmates, etc. use Buying.com technology funded by our money. Buying.com, once a small startup, is now a multi-million dollar, nationwide meal delivery service in *****************.
