The best experience during a worst case scenario. My son was facing false allegations of a Title IX violation. We researched and consulted several leading legal advisors throughout the country. Several took the approach of "fear factoring" us into needing their legal services but didn't necessarily express a true regard for my son's state of mind. After initially speaking with Atty. ****** Lento, and immediately being treated with the utmost sincerity and having been acknowledged for our feelings with the matter, we felt we would be moving forward with obtaining their counsel. They even granted a follow-up call waiving an additional consultation fee to allow us the opportunity to address a few points with no pressure to choose their firm. At that point, we knew they had more interest in our comfort level and goals than simply collecting a payment. Once on board, we were assigned to *******************, who had the knowledge and expertise in this area of law and whom was an absolute pleasure to work with. He made himself available in the evenings, weekends and on his direct cell via telephone, Zoom, as well as in-person simply at our request to ensure my son was comfortable, even though he was over 2 hours away. ****'s client-centered approach made a significant difference in his case, from a thorough investigation, supportive evidence, and his skillful negotiation helping him achieve a quick resolution to obtain our desired outcome of a withdrawal of the claim. Total rip off. If you have an issue that you know has the chance to be settled before even hiring a law firm, I don't recommend this firm. Knowing we were going into settlement they took $5000.00 With that being said every other law firm takes the full retainer respectfully but whatever is not used they return to you especially when knowing you are going to settle vs go to trial. You can get a lawyer that will settle with the other party for a lot cheaper! Probably good lawyers but if you are tight on money and know you will be settling go with a firm that does not take a full retainer and tell you to kick rocks afterwards. Especially if it is a matter happening in your life that had catastrophic events to follow, don't get taken advantage of when your emotions are all over the place. Had I known this was how this firm operates I would have definitely gone with someone else and saved myself the headache of wondering how this firm believes this to be acceptable.
