I came into Newark Flooring to purchase Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring for my new apartment. My major concern was making sure that it was scratch free as I have a dog. ******* assured me that the flooring would not be marked. I have a 9 year old senior dog who moves from the sofa to floor and it is just my husband and I who live in the apartment. We have the flooring just over 6 months and I notice all these scratches all across the floor. I reach out to ******* and after corresponding back and forth for a solution or refund- he claims it is not his fault that my dog scratched the floor and the manufacturer will not cover it.I was told this was a scratch free floor. If it was not- I would not have purchased the flooring. Emails have been going back and forth since October and my most recent email was sent 1/16/24 with no response. I was ill advised to purchase a product which did not cater to my needs and it is unfair and unjust to be treated this way. Thank you for your help.
