We purchased a car from this dealership on June 7, 2024. Despite being sold with a clean CARFAX report, the vehicle has experienced significant issues since purchase. The problems began immediately, with the tire pressure monitor light activating on the day of purchase. The following day, the check engine light illuminated. We brought the car back to Liccardi Ford ******* on June 15, and their service people said they were unable to diagnose or repair the issue because the car is a Chevrolet. We dont know what they did to the car while they had it briefly but the check engine light suddenly disappeared when they gave us back the car only for the check engine light to come back on within 30 minutes of driving away.On July 18, we took the vehicle to a certified Chevrolet dealer service center where they identified a faulty actuator in the exhaust system due to rust and internal failure, as well as muffler issues. The total cost for repairs is $3,623.28, including parts, labor, and taxes. Weve attempted to contact Liccardi by email and by certified mail to get resolution and reimbursement for the repairs since the problems arose immediately and the car was supposed to be under warranty. The dealer also only sent us one license plate and not two which are provided for NYS registered cars.Review from Eric F

I encourage anyone looking to purchase or lease a **** vehicle to find a better dealer to do business with. I recently leased a 2023 Mustang Mach-E back in mid-November 2023, and my experience was terrible. One of the major reasons I was interested in an electric vehicle was because of the state and federal incentives offered, and due to this dealer withholding information and lying to me, I missed out on two separate opportunities for a refund. First, through the state program, Chargeup **, I was *********** $1500 in state funds, as long as the vehicle was eligible (it was) and the dealership was participating (they were - *******************************************************) however this dealer made no mention of it while I was in the showroom, test drove the vehicle, or during the signing of the paperwork - even though this would have cost them NOTHING (state funds) but time to file the paperwork. I was unaware that I had to ask them to submit this paperwork on my behalf, and by the time I asked, I received no help in doing so (two weeks after contract signed). Second, I was told by *********** at this dealer that I was eligible for a federal tax refund of $3750 for leasing the vehicle, and that I just needed to work with my accountant to receive the refund. I trusted this information, and recently went to file for 2023 tax year, and learned that no this was in fact a lie and that only a purchased vehicle entitles the owner to the refund - the dealer is *********** the refund on a lease. Furthermore, in a lease, this refund is typically negotiated and offered as a discount on the lease. Unfortunately for me being **** and trusting ***********, I was not aware of this tactic, and missed out yet again. In short, this dealer caused me to miss out on $5250 of combined state and federal incentives, and any attempt to talk to a manager or *********** has resulted in no action taken whatsoever. I have never been so disappointed with any car purchase/lease.Review from Ibrahim S

Beware of Unjustified Market Adjustment Fees!I recently dealt with Liccardi Ford with the intention of purchasing a new Mustang Dark Horse. They were one of the few dealerships that had the color and model I was looking for.Despite the advertised price on their website, I was shocked to find out that the dealership added a substantial 'market adjustment fee' to the cost of the vehicle. This fee was neither mentioned in their online listing nor during our initial discussions. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, with no justification provided other than the vague notion of market demand. The salesperson, could not provide a satisfactory explanation for this additional charge, which significantly inflated the overall price. This lack of transparency and the arbitrary nature of the fee left me feeling taken advantage of. When I asked to speak to the Sales Manager I was told he is not in the office this week. I understand the concept of supply and demand, but this practice seemed unethical, especially when not disclosed upfront. It's disheartening to see a reputable dealership resort to such tactics, and it certainly eroded my trust in them.A good deal isn't just about the car; it's also about fair and transparent pricing.Review from Allan B

I think Liccardi is a RIP OFF. They told me my repair job was completed and charged me $1500.00 but after I GOT THE car nothing seem to have been done and original problem was still there. I took the car back they had it five days now and they haven't even look at it. I am an Uber driver now I have not able to work for severals because of their incompetence.Review from Shaheer W

I had a part replaced last year under warranty and the part failed 1 year later. The part is under "national back order". My car has now been at the dealership for a month and no one can tell me when the part is coming in and when the repair will be complete. I was not offered a loaner and was told that "we do not do loaners". When I came in to the dealership to retrieve something out of the car I heard the lady at the service desk telling someone over the phone about their loaner. I called **** last week to get some answers and they were not able to get answers for me as well. I tired again today and the dealership did not connect them to the service manager or did they provide answers about the part from the parts department, The car I drive is a 2020, which in my eyes is still a new car that I pay a car note for. To spend hundreds of dollars on Uber and etc. to get to work and still pay a car note on a repair that is under warranty is unacceptable. I still have no answers 1 month later. I am trying to avoid turning this matter into a civil matter but the lack of care and urgency is absolutely disrespectful. ******, the service representative, has not made 1 call to me to discuss this matter. Any correspondence has come from me calling and being connected to him. He promises to keep me in the loop and has failed to make any effort to reach me whatsoever.I need to know what is going on and why it is taking so long to get a part from one of the worlds largest automakers.Review from Timmy O

Absolutely the worst dealership I've ever dealt with. When I walked in, there were *********************************************** talking to one another on the floor, and yet I had to wait an hour for anyone to help because "it was so busy" (5 customers as far as I could tell). The dealership fees are off the charts high, they don't return your calls and it took 5 weeks to get my plates. Top to bottom, just awful. I won't even consider using their Service let alone buy a vehicle from them. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.Review from Angelique T

I have a 2018 **** Mustang Ecoboost. I had my car towed to Liccardi Ford for misfiring/overheating. I spoke with the service advisor, ******. I explained everything that happened prior to the car being towed there. I was advised a diagnostic test will be performed. I agreed. I was called back to be told that they need additional time for the diagnostic test so instead of the $180.00 I will be charged $360.00 due to there being an issue with them finding the problem along with the cylinder head sensor replacement which was $430.00 ($790.00 total). I agreed because I didn't have much of a choice and that the diagnostic test will not be included in the service charge. After the third diagnostic test, I was told that I needed a power train module totaling $1269.00. I agreed to pay for the part however, I refused to pay for the additional diagnosis. Once that service was completed, I was told after being test driven again, my car is still running hot and I need a new thermostat. I explained I already replaced it and I was then told that "the new thermostat is faulty". I didn't want them to change the thermostat for an additional $440.00 that I don't have after paying for the services that I received. I paid a total of $2290.07.Once the new thermostat was installed, it did not fix the issue. I brought the car back to Liccardi Ford I left and as I was going home on I-78, my car ran really hot and shut down. We were stuck on the highway and I had it towed back to Liccardi Ford . When I spoke to ****** the next morning, I asked why I'm back with the same issues that my car came in with and I just spent over $2200.00! I am calling and not getting calls back. I showed up today and was told it looks like I need a new engine. I was told they will have to take apart my engine to see if its the head gasket instead of changing the engine and I will have to pay for hours of labor to check it to see if it's possible. I don't have any money left, no car to drive, no call backs.Review from Nelly O

These people rank their clients based on color. **************** me $250 to change an air filter after claiming they did a routine maintenance job. The invoice stated that they topped the fluids, yet I opened the hood and nothing was done. When we disputed the charge, the manager, *************************** started to mock us because we were black. All we wanted was a refund, but they shamed us instead. There is a viseo posted of the interaction, and when the negative reviews came in, they tried to cover them up with fake 5 star reviews.Review from Davey R.
