We paid Mr Garcia a total of 36000.00 for various projects, including adding stucco to a back room, replacing paneling, and replacing the roof of 1 detached garage, a shed and our house. As noted in the pictures, the roof to the main house is absolutely terrible. We complained to Mr Garcia, and he quickly got the roof inspected, and the inspector said thst the roof was up to code. Mr Garcia and his wife then informed us that since it was up to code, that seal was "all that he needed.' We have since had the main roof inspected by 3 companies, all citing violations. Mr Garcia is as far as we know, the only licensed contractor with his company, yet he was not present during the construction of the roof, and he said he didn't need to be. A permit was not issued until the day AFTER the inspection. A deck inspection was not done as required by NM state law. When we put up an honest review of the company online, we were attacked personally, I was accused of things that were absolutely not true, AND they went so far as to violate our right to privacy by putting our name and address up on their ******** page. Mr. Garcia continuously states that it is a good roof. He even went so far as to ask my wife if maybe she was just unhappy with the color. IMG_0903 is a picture just taken this morning, after a moderate rain storm last night. This roof is at most, 2 months old, and is literally coming apart. The entire roof needs to be redone correctly. Also included in his invoice was to install new pipe jacks and venting. The pipe jacks noted on one of the reports are "badly hail damaged." Mr. ******* has been nothing but a difficult customer since the beginning. We have worked hard and we did pass the city inspections. CID did find 4 small violations that we are working on correcting today. We will continue to work wiht CID and the Attorney Generals office to resolve this problem. As The ******* have been nothing but bullies on social media and are simply unhappy because some of our staff responded. We did speak to our worker and told her not to do that. She however has chosen to speak her truth on that situation. We are truly sorry that all this has happend and if we knew this would be the situation we would have NEVER DONE WORK FOR THEM. We will not reimburse the money because the roof is a good roof. We did even add an extra year of warranty for them. We look to move forward from this experience and continue to serve our town.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
First, we posted an opinion of the work done as is our right a consumers. Second, a representative of the organization made a ** post that pubished our home address and threatened to sue is for the post. A private apology was later made by email and the post deleted. If anyone is trying to bully anyone, it is the business.
As for difficult, we did make changes and requested additional work, all of which was paid for. Some of that was done poorly as well and it was necessary for the company to send representatives back to correct a badly hung door and poorly sealed stucco on a wall. We provided storage for their tools so they did not have to pack them up and take them home each night. This is a sour-grapes complaint.
Finally, yes, after having to file a complaint with the State because, despite what one inspector said, the roof was not up to code, the company did send a crew to do some repairs. The crew chief was not in possession of the report from the second inspection and was unaware of some of the issues that needed to be addressed. Had I not been present and provided him with the report, work would have gone undone. As it stands, the repairs were not completed as of this date and I am waiting for the crew chief to advise me when he can return and finish the work he started and take the materials he left sitting on m sidewalk away.In short, the company has not been responsive, did not take any special effort to address our concerns until a potential claim against his license was filed, and has certainly not been a good partner in this transaction.
While the Company is not directly responsible for the actions of its employees, I would further point out that another of his crew chiefs made ** posts that were insulting to my wife and defamatory toward me on a personal level. That is the kind of business this is.
