On August 8, 2023, we purchased a ********** free-standing induction range and oven from Appliance Plus doing business at *** ***** *** ***** * ** **** for delivery to our summer home in Angel Fire NM. The range was charged to our **** credit card. The range was delivered about a week later but was damaged, a fact not discovered until the appliance was unboxed by the vendor at delivery. Appliance Plus returned the appliance and ordered a replacement. The replacement was not received at Appliance Plus before we were due to return home. On September 12, we informed Appliance Plus that since we were leaving, the order should be cancelled. However, because Appluance Plus thought they might receive the appliance soon, we delayed our departure a few days. The range was not received at Appliance Plus. After discussing our situation with **** ****** at Appliance Plus, we cancelled the order on September 22, and arranged for the paid amount ($2047.31) to be refunded to our credit card. To date, dispite several assurances from Appliance Plus,we have yet to receive a credit in the amount of the purchase price and Appliance Plus has not communicated with us.Customer response

We are writing to request that you close the complaint that we filed with Appliance Plus Sales and Service in Taos. Our refund is listed as “ pending” in our credit card account, and we expect that it will fully clear within the next day. Our complaint indicated that we had not been contacted by Taos Appliance after considerable effort to contact them. However, **** ****** ( Mrs. *******) just discovered that Taos Appliance had tried to reach her a day after her last request for information — had she checked her messages, she would have called the company back and been able to resolve the matter earlier. **** called Taos Appliance this morning and resolved the matter with the owner. We appreciate your work and wish to confirm that this issue is resolved acceptably.
