On Mar. 30, 2022 I purchased a purchased a Car Radio/CD Player from Nevada Pic a Part, Henderson, NV, XXXXX. I was told that there was no warranty on any products sold at Pack A Part, if something were wrong with any of the items I could not bring it back. The only way I could bring the item back is if I purchased a warranty for the item and then I would not be given a cash refund but another of the same item . I purchased the Radio for$22.00 , $2.20 for the 30 day warranty& $0.66 ****** Charge totaling $26.95. I installed the radio in my vehicle on the premises and it played fine but it shut off after playing only a few minutes . I would turn the ignition off then back on and it would come back on but only to shut off again in a few minutes. I took the radio returned it and pulled out another radio I was then told by the Clerk: "Marion"( as his name was listed on the sales receipt,) that I had to purchase a additional warranty on the one he was giving me to replace the faulty one. At which time I told him that he had not made good on the warranty that I had just purchased from him, it was his obligation to stand behind the warranty that I had purchased and replace the item with one that worked. I did not have to buy a warranty on the item which was guaranteed by the warranty that I had purchased at the time I made the initial purchase. The company was obligated to provide me one which was in good working condition without any further payment from me. Mariom the Clerk disagreed with me and told the personnel not to allow me to bring this radio back if it did not work. I took the latter radio out and installed it into my vehicle and there was some blockage in the CD player I could not even insert a CD. Mariom the clerk had already told me that I would not be able to return it because I had not purchased and an additional warranty. One warranty should be sufficient to cover the company's replacing one non working item for one that is working .
